Pakistan will only develop when the brain drain is reversed and the population is educated. Without a hard working, intelligent and nationalist population a country cannot develop.

This needs to be instilled in every single Pakistani.

Pondering at the Strauss-Howe generational theory, 2020s might turn out be a good decade for Pakistan. India had it's time (every dog has it's day). Now that it is exposed and Pakistan is rising from the ashes. We have a generation that is more self aware than the previous 2 generations.

whats the next decade will be like

I cannot say for sure at least now because the experiment is still going on. The experiment was to change the status quo a little bit in the form of IK. Lets see how this turns out. One thing is sure even for the future: The experiments will only be performed by the military establishment.

Here’re my predictions for Pak based on the Turkish experience:

• Much better economy with higher trade/investment etc., tighter fiscal discipline, reformed tax collection, much less top level mega corruption etc. Higher GDP
• More pragmatic foreign policy involving multiple major players which delivers
• More enlightened Pak folks with a more nationalistic Deep Nation
• More technological output from Pak folks
• Indigenous defence products will take a new height
• Better managed and cleaner cities with more civic facilities
• Etc.

Unfortunately we have too much education, but in the wrong subjects. We place too much store on religion. Count the number of madaris and mullahs teaching how to reach heaven but not enough universities teaching how to reach Mars.

While we produce hafiz the west produces men and wmen to design, build F-16s, Su-30s, nuclear submarines. And too many qari's but we have to import Chinese boys to build our bridges and motorways.

This needs changing, Fast !

No problem with religious schools which also teach modern sciences, trades etc. So, a Kari can be also able to build bridges....
