Just because the quota system did not achieve does not mean the idea is wrong. World over this is used. Your kith and and kin are some of the most trodden underclass in India yet somehow when they migrated to Sindh trhey suddenly turned into genius?? Does that make sense? But I will say this. Sindi's have been colonized. They voted for freedom in 1940 ~ the first Muslim majority province to do so. But they ended being colonized in their own land. Read GM Syed's lifestory and you can see that. The gact that Sindi elite sold out is another matter to the tragedy of the Sindhi people.

Most that opted for migrating to Pakistan were upper and middle class with higher education and many with professional background hence the disparity between what was left behind (a diluted potential) and what reached Pakistan.

And keep what up? 50 years of quota is not enough to bring equality? And a quota system which didn’t give the promised 40% to the other side.

You find and expect yourself an equal citizen with equal opportunities in UK thousands of miles away from the land where you profess racial discrimination and further suppression of a whole section of society that may have had advantage 50 years ago?

Most regimes in the region are colonial in nature who treat their citizens with protectionism and exploitation.

This nation of Pakistan is the only country along with China who think the same values across the territory of their domain in terms of betterment. While China has one party system, the only party in Pakistan is Islam.

This xenophobia is imported from the outside, the homegrown one is largely fringe and confined to realms of an ageing population if dumbfudgers don't mainstream it via provincialism specially when politically, the administrative areas keep getting associated with race and color.

will say that Urdu speakers gauged a overrsized % after they arrived in Sind during 1950s. That advantage they gained then [by grabbing Karachi and being dominant in the formative governments] led to Sindhi being pushed to the margins in their own province. They effectively got colonized by migrants. Something like how migrants from Europe pushed Palestinians into the margins in their own land. Indeed the Sindi leadership like Palestinians leadership failed them also to face rthe challanges.

My point is Indians did Land reforms and Pakistanis didn't. Yes, there are problems in India but Indians were foresighted enough to snatch power from waderas unlike us.
