The history of Quota System in Sindh revealed by Javed Choudary (Courtesy Express News)

Can you provide an example of Sindh Urban seats in any Federal department?
I know at one time there were 11 engineering positions opened in PIA in karachi back in early 90s, and you could only apply for 1 if you had a sindh Urban domicile.

Is it the same in Punjab, where there is Punjab urban and Punjab rural quotas?
Quota is based on population of a particular region. For federal jobs (like PIA, FIA, Customs, NAB, FBR, inland revenue etc), the number of seats against a particular quota is proportional to the population of that region. Furthermore, there are open merit seats as well.e.g if there are 100 seats for FIA then 7-8 seats will be for Sindh urban.

For Sindh provincial jobs, there's urban and rural quota which according to many people is a cause of problems in Sindh.

Is it the same in Punjab, where there is Punjab urban and Punjab rural quotas
No.

Only some specific jobs of Punjab government have district wise quotas (e.g police sub-inspector posts in PPSC).

For federal jobs, there is one Punjab quota only , no rural and urban.

Look at this

Victim of Quota System | Junaid Akram's Podcast#32

Actually women should be the last ones to say they're victims. Haven't watched the video but fact is that a lass gets a job at 65 marks on women quota whereas a bloke has to secure 75 marks to get the same job.

it is because of lack of education which any any feudal society oppose as education of masses force the society to open-up which the feudals don't want as in close society where ignorance due to lack of education and least exposure to outside world so that they can rule on the basis of fear and hatred ..... you can clearly see this in interior Sindh and Balochistan ..... just for sake of example

just try to list Premier Education Institutes from these provinces .... ???

how many could you even list .... ???

What do you think why Feudals of Sindh and Sardars of Balochistan oppose inward or outward migrations .... ???

because it against their interest ..... just think it yourself now they are ruling over those common poor Sindhis unquestioned why would they give them equal status so that one day lose their premiership in that social structure .... ???
True, they want to keep the people in the centuries old strangle hold. But not for long now.

Similarly, unless the Sindhis themselves kick PPP out of power, Federal govt has its hands tied behind its back. We cannot undo 18th ammendment. The relative lack of development of Sindh and mismanagement in Karachi and Hyderabad cannot be fixed by the people who will be swiftly labeled as outsiders by PPP and Sindhi nationalists.

Establishment can bring new party in Sindh with relative ease...They are being criminal here...

So, if enslaved labour Sindhis continued to vote for PPP for next 100 years, there is no hope for Karachi and will be left alone...That's what you're saying? Then why do elections here in khi? if Khi is to be left alone like this under PPP?

Something NEEDS to be done....Doing nothing is not an option. Establishment can arm twist governments for all the reasons they like....They can certainly arm twist PPP....

Victim? Not really. Muhajirs are still over represented in civil services and everything else compared to Sindhis. If you want to see real victims then Indian muslims are good exemple, no more then 2-3% representation in any department despite 15% of overall population.

There is also a 'Sindh Urban' quota which gives edge to Karachi and Hyderabad domicile holders. (in federal vacancies)

For federal vacancies, Sindh-Urban merit is always lower than Punjab and KPK. Now, Sindh urban regions at the same time, also benefit from quota system when its about federal posts.

Then, Baluchistan's merit is the lowest in quota system.

Now, think about it. If Baluchistan or lets say Sindh rural is underrepresented then that would only sow the seeds of discontent against Punjab. Abolishment of quota system is most beneficial for Punjab domicile holders but we do not raise hue and cry over it.

Now, if quota system is abolished, will the waderas magically start providing education to their serfs?

It is a double edge sword. On one hand, you have PPP domination and lack of merit in Sindh and on the other hand, you will have to deal with people who'll make stories about grievances against developed parts of the country and fan troubles citing under-representation and domination of developed regions.

I would say that again, if people from some regions are underrepresented in jobs then it will create a bigger problem. It will sow the seeds of discontent in their hearts against people of developed regions and we will lose unity and face infighting. We haven't been able to construct Kalabagh dam because it will infuriate Pashtun and Sindhi nationalists and we might have to deal with a Sindhudesh or Pashtunistan movement.

Muhajirs, punjabis and pashtuns are also biggest abusers of fake domiciles to get jobs. Stop picking at Sindhis and Baloch who are worst represented in civil services. Without quota it will be much worse.

Something needs to be done but that something is something that Sindhis must do.

Est can do...if it is safe, then it must be done.
Stop picking at Sindhis and Baloch who are worst represented in civil services
For obvious reasons...you forgot to add that.

Rest of your allegations are just that...allegations without evidence.
