What's new

The future of Muslims in India according to the Hindus

It is.

LOL, A Hajjam baradari man marries in Hajjam baradari, yes they may have left that occupation generations ago but they are still called Hajjam baradari.

Plumber was an example, it's your fault if you can't comprehend that much.

From what source are you claiming a hajjam will only marry a hajjam? Professions are not set in stone like they are in India. A hajjam can become a plumber or a carpenter or he can start selling milk. All within the limits of his social strata.

Have your family married a Julaha/Hajjam/Darzi baradari person?

Oh God just drop it. You know nothing. There are no jullaha or darzi castes in Pakistan. Anybody can be a tailor or a barber. That shit happens in your Hyderabad Deccan and Muradabad most probably.

I feel for you. I really do. But when the **** will you guys wake up? Guzre waqto pe pachtaane ka faida nahin but you guys should have woken up after Modi won in 2014. Now let this be a lesson and work for your self determination. Don't drink the kool aid of Hindu Muslim bhai bhai, even the liberal Shashi Tharoor ones will sell you out in a minute.

What is your definition of waking up? 70% of Indian Muslims live in poverty. They are worried about the next meal and you think they have time to pontificate about what may happen 10 years from now? The 25% middle class is worried about safety and simply meeting the basic requirements of livelihood. The 5% that are rich, well, less said about them the better.

It is really tiring to answer your condescending posts that are made up of assumptions. Assumptions that first and foremost are simply that "we are not doing anything". You try living in a society where the majority hates you and where you are struggling to livelihood and see how difficult it is.

@Meengla has summed up the situation of Indian Muslims very well in some of his posts. Perhaps you should peruse through them before pontificating here

????

I meant a hajjam can't suddenly become a factory owner but he can certainly change his profession without social upheaval. As for the PDF threads, I suggest you ask any Pakistani here about the caste system. All this jullaha hujjam darzi nonsense wil be news to them

A simple google search for this.
muslim rajput is still high caste while merasi is low caste. Have you not noticed that toilets in pakistan are cleaned by christians, a chaudri dont marry with hajam, tarkahn, julaha, mochi etc.

In Pashtun dominated areas lives a number of minorities referred to as hamsaya such as the Dhobi, Mirasi, Qassab, Kumhar, Julaha, Teli, Nai, Shah Khel e.t.c, speaking both pashto and hindko languages. The hamsiya live in villages inhabited by Pashtuns, but are not allowed to own property. Each hamsiya group is affiliated to a particular tribe, in which territory they live.

Bhai jan punjabi tarkhan/lohar use "mughal" or "mirza" as their surname in punjab. Punjabi Kumhar use "rehmani" as their surname, punjabi julaha use " ansari" , mirasi use "qureshi", teli use "malik" surnames. There are many others kammi groups in punjab who use very fancy surnames that sound arabic, persian and central asian because they never had any surnames in the past they were called with profession names which they did not like so they invented many surnames for themselves.

They might be lohars or tarkhans claiming a different origin as to their real one. Like in Pind Dadan Khan and Ahmadabad, the Khokhars are recognized as rajputs and use the title of raja, while those in Gujranwala are tarkhan or julaha haha.

Similarly, in Sialkot, Janjua is a nai clan unlike Potohar.

False. I have studied from a university in KPK. GIKI university. Search it up. All these posts are quite dubious. If anything, the ethnic group with the least probability of any caste system is the Pathans. They function on a tribal basis.

You don't believe posts by Pakistanis, you don't believe surveys by British. Leave it. I know better things to waste my time.

Have you read about artisans being transferred during invasions. Forget it, what history you've read?

Sorry I find it hard to be oh so sympathetic. What's happening to you guys is disgusting and horrible indeed. But why the **** were you sleeping for the past 70 years? Let this be the start of your own equivalent of Zionism. The right to self determination and throwing away the yoke of Hindu dominance. I don't even think you guys are 200 million, it's surely somewhere along the range of 250-300 million. Focus on forming a majority in a few states in the next 50 years. God will help you inshaAllah.

Boy, it's not that simple. We were doing many things - running from riots, fighting discrimination, fighting suspicion, saving Babri Masjid, saving Urdu, saving personal laws.

Focus on forming a majority in a few states in the next 50 years. God will help you inshaAllah.
Even if we assume that's possible (which it's not), what about those who will be left as minority in their states?

Empathy was never your strong points. You would probably blame the Jews and Bosnians.

Okay we will work on your 50 year plan.

You HAVE to make it happen then. Don't dwell on ifs and buts. Modi government will not stay forever, things will get better iA. But you guys do not have to loosen up in your efforts. Work for your self determination and empowering the community. Ditch Deoband and Jamiat. They only drag you down and keep you tangled in stupid issues like Triple Talaq.

Never the one to blame the Jews. I really admire how they built up a state from virtually nothing and how strong the ties of brotherhood and patriotism are within them.

I agree here but what can I do to convince other Muslims who are literally slaves of Deoband, Barelvi, JeI and Jamiat?

What exactly do you want us to say? Your unneccesary antagonism will only drive people sympathetic towards you away. Trust me I want nothing but good for Indian Muslims. 3 of my grandparents came from India. May Allah bless them. Sorry if what we say to you isn't all flowery and sweet, but we tell you the truth and what's in your interests. We're not like duplicitious Hindus ke baghal mein churi moo pe ram ram who will be the first to throw you to the gallows.

Social media, networking, community centres (Eidgahs and ijtimas). And khuda ke waaste don't be so openly antagonistic about Hindus like Owaisi bros are. Its what made Hindus so suspicious towards you guys. See how tight knit Dawoodi Bohra and Ismaili communities are amongst their Jamat khanas.

You live in a country with 96% Muslim population.

You will not get it.

We live in a country where the vast majority of the population hates Islam and Muslims. Unfortunately this includes almost every non Muslim community that you can think of. There are exceptions, yes.

Most sensible ones prefer to do this - keep minding his own business, earn money and feed their families, try to shift abroad or live within the community. The problem is exacerbated by the fact that Islamophobia is a dominant trait all over the world now. Hence the genocides of Rohingyas, Kashmiris etc are ignored. Consistently.
