The gas deal benefits both sides. Russia gets the money, China gets the energy. As for currency swapping, both Russia and China are sending a message to the US that it can not do whatever it pleases without consequences. For over a decade the US has been overthrowing governments either by bombing them or funding opposition to topple those governments, most of the time the people that take power afterwards are anti Russian or at worst try to hurt Russia's interests. Imagine if Russia did what the US did in Ukraine to America's neighbors. Just as bad the US has been encircling Russia. Presently they have tanks and soldiers on the Russian border. They intercept Russian aircraft flying in international airspace near the Russian border and then call Russia aggressors. They have been doing the same in China, parking carrier groups off the Chinese coast, flying over disputed Chinese islands. Both Russia and China are very unhappy with Obama and company.

you quoted the classical two body problem. That has nothing to do with orbits in the classical sense. As i said you have no clue what you talk about russkie. The lagrange points are important when you want ballance a satellite between two celestial bodies. Like the kepler telescope.

The combined armies of France, Germany and UK are more than a match for the Russia army. Russia has more tanks but the EU tanks are superior.

If required then there is a division of US troops in Germany with the excellent Abrams tanks to help out.

They were ran out of ammunition, even when they fought against Gaddafi. In fact, the majority of Europeans will just raise the white flag, as it was during World War II. Their toy army can fight only against the colonies in Africa. Without the help of America Russia can conquer Europe for 2-3 weeks.

A war now is won by well trained soldiers,good officers,and technology.
Russian army is just obsolete,and can just fight countries like georgia.

You probably did not read the recent news from the German magazine. The Commission found that in the German army fit for combat techniques about 15%. In the Russian army, this figure - 85%. Russia conducts regular exercises with tens of thousands of pieces of equipment and hundreds of aircraft, more than 150,000 soldiers. Europe simply can not imagine how a real attack looks like. Fight with the Bedouins or Negroes and fight with the giant war machine - it is incomparable.
No advantage in the air they do not have. The Su-27 is not inferior to European planes, new Su-30 and Su-35 surpass them. And do not forget that Russia has a total superiority in air defense. It will be total no-fly zone. Without help of Master they will loose in 2-3 weeks. Or even faster.
