The enigma of Zaid Hamid (a neutral take)

haviZsultan......جدا ہو دین سیاست سے تو رہ جاتی ہے چنگیزی!....... your article shows that ZH is important for you, no matter, what is the reason behind your article but you are forced to take him seriously. Very soon, InshAllah, you will be forced to accept the truth -- even if you like it or not!

i say he is better than ganja n zardari gang, who are looting this nation n dancing to us/saudi tunes. sharia only works in the countryside with very minimum technology you basically living off the land completely and using barter n gold and silver currency. soon people will be running back to countryside - gas price up , water price up, electricity up, or u dnt have it for hours, imf loans with interest. to be honest i rather live old way of life ride horse instead dont rely on us/saudi petro dollar and use real money currency. use wood for fire, got well for water, few live stock n land for farming i control the food n freedom to grow what i want raw fresh organic. bombing always take place in crowded cities/towns but countryside its only horses try sticking a bomb under them. plus everyone knows each other more trust or less interference. a much happier life on the kata bed lolz.

Politics is old Greek System...........

Politics (from Greek politikos "of, for, or relating to citizens") is the art or science of influencing people on a civic, or individual level, when there are more than 2 people involved.

Dictatorship is old Ancient Egyptian system...........

The Firon (pharaoh) was the absolute monarch of the country and wielded complete control of the land and its resources. The king was the supreme military commander and head of the government, who relied on a bureaucracy of officials to manage his affairs.

Khilafat the modern & true system of Islam................

Hazrat Umar's general instructions to his officers were:

“ "Remember, I have not appointed you as commanders and tyrants over the people. I have sent you as leaders instead, so that the people may follow your example. Give the Muslims their rights and do not beat them lest they become abused. Do not praise them unduly, lest they fall into the error of conceit. Do not keep your doors shut in their faces, lest the more powerful of them eat up the weaker ones. And do not behave as if you were superior to them, for that is tyranny over them."
During the reign of Caliph Abu Bakr, the state was economically weak, while during Umar’s reign because of increase in revenues and other sources of income, the state was on its way to economic prosperity. Hence Umar felt it necessary that the officers be treated in a strict way as to prevent the possible greed for money that may lead them to corruption. During his reign, at the time of appointment, every officer was required to make the oath:

That he would not ride a Turkic horse (which was a symbol of pride).
That he would not wear fine clothes.
That he would not eat sifted flour.
That he would not keep a porter at his door.
That he would always keep his door open to the public.

Caliph Umar himself followed the above postulates strictly...................

these are attributes of a Muslim Leader ......... Muslims were much advance in all fields, science, technology, medical, math, philosophy, military, justice, economics & education & life style etc .............. this is Nonsense that Khilafat will drag us to dark age , when Khlafat will be established Pakistan will lead the world in all fields of life, truth, love & peace, sciences & technologies but not in sins, corruption & fake systems ............

Read his book first on khilafat by ZH then post comments...........

i have read some parts or watched video on the Rothschild monetary fraud read Eustace mullins book but shikh imran hussein explains it best. countries whose people resist are made poor to teach them a lesson through imf /interest/ devalue of currency paper fraud. khalifat is tough to establish on big scale you must try at a tiny community in the countryside and gradually expand over time. the dollar is backed by saudi oil money (petro dollar)and soon will lose its value and crash bringing down all paper money. Dinar and dharam needs to best established real currency.

@haviZsultan

Mind posting a thread on the modern Islamic State? That is, how it would conduct its affairs, any legislative bodies, the functions of the executive, relationship between the constitution and religious texts, the level of technocracy and democracy, and secularism in the Islamic System.

I too believe a true Islamic System is secular -- that is, the sharia of muslims is not the law of the land exclusively, and does not impose itself upon non-muslims. Yet, it also has ordnances that are enshrined in the core concept which any muslim would follow -- human rights, a welfare state, etc. (I guess what I'm trying to say is that there would be freedom of religion and expression, the choice of religion is the person's own responsibility, and socialist concepts such as a welfare state -- for example, moral policing is done by the person and not actual moral police, to keep a beard is one's own choice and not forced like in Talib Afghanistan.)

Would be even better if you could incorporate both Iqbal's, Jinnah's and other intellectuals of the Pakistan movement's thoughts on this.

You post one on how you feel such a state should be governed and I will provide insights.
