4x Qatar Emiri Air Force Eurofighter Typhoon FGR4s landed yesterday at Konya Air Base to participate in international air warfare exercises ‘Anatolian Eagle 2023’.
It would be good to see Azerbijan upgrade their airforce from their russian relics - unfortunately JF17 did not make the cut for them, i suspect they are waiting for Hurjet and the TFX to replatform their airforce instead.

Indian Airforce learned some hard lessons Post Balakot and went upon its modernization efforts such as
-Su-30 MKI upgrades
-Induction of Rafale 4.5 Gen jets with Meteor BVR
-Plans to induct Rafale-M as Naval Carrier fighter
-Tejas MK-1 addition
-BVRs such as ASTRA-1
- Air Launched versions of Hypersonic ER BrahMos
In addition both sides have plucked the Air defense gaps ; Pakistan installing HQ-9 Air defense Systems while Indians putting S-400 into layered defense system.
Pakistan's constraints due to end user restrictions on Use of F-16s in aggressive roles or Lack of spares are now a thing of Past. Where as Indians now have rectified the Radio communication Jamming issues or Low range BVR capability.
Pakistan’s response to the Balakot strikes suggests that it would rely on its potent conventional options, which have been rehearsed in several military exercises, when retaliating to such cross-border strikes in the future. Pakistan’s current conventional deterrence strategy rests on "A New war-fighting concept" developed based on recent inductions, Use of Force Multipliers / UAVs and ingredients from Past success based on use of AEW&C & EW capabilities.
The 5.0th Generation NGFA induction from both sides seem distant , hence battle lines are almost drawn clearly for now.
The next Aerial conflict will provide the theater for arch rivals to test out the new Platforms & capabilities and to determine whether the balance of Airpower in the region has changed.

Now that this is confirmed, in what regard, if any does this lag behind the Apache E?
I hope a Chinese Ramjet missile with a 200+Km range can be developed for the JF-17 and the J-10 to give the Indians a new psychological worry. Perhaps even find a way to integrate at least a couple very long range missile on each J-10 to take out India’s force multipliers; AWACS, EW, Tankers, etc. I know it would probably be a very heavy weapon, but a couple of those along with with two PL-10 should probably be feasible if the airframe were strengthened adequately to meet the need. If it also had anti-radiation mode and had Air to ground capability, it could probably take out Indian radars and blind SAM batteries from safe distances. Even an export version of the PL-20, capped at 300 Km would still have enough range to force the Indians to push back their batteries or risk losing them.

THE RACE FOR OBTAINING CUTTING EDGE IN AIR SUPERIORITY FOR SUB CONTINENT HEATS UP
"When China exhibits a Weapons system or a platform & releases it for exports - its a foregone conclusion that they have successfully developed a more advanced variant of that previous system.
The export of PL-15 BVR would point to Chinese development of a more sophisticated Long range NG BVR , potentially with Ram Jet Sustainer & Multi mode Seeker.
This was evident since 2016 when internet was filled with Chinese media reports on PL-17 , PL-XX & PL-21 Missiles. The Chinese have carefully watched the development of JATM AIM-260 & surely would not lag behind this critical weapon of Air dominance.
The Utilization of Chinese Flankers , J-10C & J-20 would ultimately benefit Pakistan Airforce which could integrate the Next Gen BVR to its Fleet of J-10CP.
This is the most critical factor of J-10CP with PAF - A Fighter jet in current fleet of PLAAF which could be scaled rapidly both interms of numbers & advancements.
Indian Airfoce options are to go for Astra MK-2 Ramjet BVR development & Upgrade Su-30 MKIs with Astra MK-1 & 2 Missiles for offensive operations & BrahMos Air Launched ER Missiles for Stand off Strikes while staying close to International borders .
In addition steps such as
Its the Air Superiority side where Indian Military seems most challenged by Pakistani Military due to depleting Fleet strength and loss of cutting edge tech which Indians enjoyed during Kargil.
Pakistani Air force is also in the process of developing antidodes for Layered defences and acquiring Turkish UAVs are one part of developing the kill chain.
The ground based EW Assets & Radar deployments are meant to cover the Air Defense vaunted gaps in Pakistani Airspace for Indians jets to exploit in future conflict.
With the door of technology agreement for Air Superiority assets / systems available from Turkiye [KAAN, Gokhan, Goktug, Akbaba, Akinci ] opening up - The Pakistan Airforce would surely enjoy cutting edge in times to come."

Super Şimşek - A development worthy to note for PAF
Air Launched from a UAV -“Süper Şimşek” (Super Lightning) is the latest version of High Speed Target Aircraft System Şimşek developed by Turkish Aerospace.
Süper Şimşek was first and foremost a target aircraft ; forthcoming versions would include decoy target and offensive munitions capabilities.
Armed versions will include different types of seeker heads, Therefore Süper Şimşek will be able to carry out air-to-surface and air-to-air attacks, and through electronic warfare systems installed as part of its own capacity, conduct missions such as detecting and suppressing enemy systems on the ground.
It has MTOW of 200 kg with the ability to carry EW payloads.
In Loitering munition or Kamikaze mode - It can ability carry 35 kg warheads with a max range of a 700 km.
Super Simsek will be available in 11 different configurations, including such as Cruise Missile , as a Supersonic Decoy, as EW Carrying UAV, as Loyal Wingman for ANKA-III or Akinci etc
