The 10 most spoken languages in the world

Urdu should be categorised as a separate language. Pure hindi is not understandable by urdu speakers. So urdu should never be equated to hindi and vice versa. As a separate language, urdu still would be in top 10.

If Urdu and Hindi are differant languages why is Bollywood ruling Pakistan? No dubbing is done. Pakistani songs, singers are openly playing in Bolly flicks. How is that possible. Either Bolly is using language to grab Pakistani market and losing the Indian market. Or is it using a medium that sells on both sides of border? If so both languages are sufficiently similiar that this can be done.

Anybody want to explain this please?

Majority of Indian songs use Urdu because its sounds nice and rhythmic.
Hindu on other hand will ruin a song.
example :
Urdu: Mera dil na torho
Hindi: Mera dil naku toro

That's cause Pakistani think they are distant Iranian or turkic or Arab. Yet they can't under a single sentence if it's spoken in pure Farsi/Dari, Turkish or arabic, but can understand 70% of a sentence that's spoken in colloquial Hindi. Yet they still deny Urdu and hindi are unrelated.

Jahil and slaves we are. Be proud of your language, weather it's Urdu, Punjabi, Pukhto, Sindhi, Balochi, Seraikhi, or whatever it is. Be proud of it.

Unlike you, their are people who have actually did researches on this topic. They didn't just look through two video clips and make a conclusion

Urdu and hindi have an extreme level of intelligibility. Urdu-hindi are more closer than Mexican Spanish and Peruvian Spanish, and these are basically the same language. So keep your inferiority complex back in your pocket

inferiority complex?
You might want to associate with monkeys to the east but I don't want to.
Nothing about superiority.

And you are absolutely wrong about the Spanish bit.
They have regional differences, Just like Arabic. But again, look at the Urdu of Shah mehmoud vs the monkey.

Feeling proud that our native macro native dialectal continuum called "Western Punjabi" (Lahnda/Lehndi) made it to the top 10 spoken languages of the world.

And Urdu and Hindi are the two names of the same languages. The difference between everyday hindi and urdu is smaller than the difference between punjabi spoken in my city Gujranwala and the city of Faisalabad but I would not say that languages spoken in Gujranwala and Faisalabad are different, we just have a little bit difference in choice of vocabulary and some minor grammar differences.

Urdu and Hindi are different languages with totally different histories also.

Urdu is a natural language and the proper form of Hindustani, while Hindi is a bastardized version stripped of all its Arabic, Farsi, Turkish words, which have been replaced by unnatural dead sanskrit words,

Best thing about Urdu is one can easily add foreign words to it without loosing it's flavour. For example a few words of Arabic and suddenly Urdu becomes very religious. A few words of English and it sounds very Modern. It's very generous and progressive in that sense. On the other hand there's a systematic campaign being followed in India to make Hindi different from Urdu. Take any 80s/90s Bollywood movie and compare it with today's.
They have successfully destroyed a language and it sounds so bad and foreign to ears these days.
Irony is they changed the names of their cities for being English yet no one realised their country still has a foreign name "India".

Naming yourself after an Arab ruler doesn't help your case.
I am bent over laughing ..

Any language can. In fact Urdu is less flexible. Turkish, Malay, Indonesian adapt far more and even use Roman characters. Malay leaflet below.
