What's new

TF-X Turkish Fighter & Trainer Aircraft Projects

Yes, for example, the under-fuselage weapon stations were revised in a tandem arrangement instead of a single main section. The side internal weapon stations has been enlarged. The nose radar radome has been almost doubled in size, which is an important clue to the targeted electronic capabilities. Peripheral radar antennas have also placed different points on the aircraft. The pilot seating position has been raised.
This dynamic mode of development is a highly demanding and needs high level of commitment and capabilities out of the developers.
Changing airframe design and other design elements on the go is a challenging task. It seems that Turks are re-writing the rules of the game.

THE ROAD BLOCK or CHALLENGE :

"Every success brings with it certain challenges. Sub systems such as 360° DAS development & associated Electronics / Munitions are well on the cards ...

The limited insights we have about the rear and of the TF-X prototype, together with its reported taxi test, also again raises one specific long-standing question:

When will the domestic engines be ready to power it?

What are the development in that area ?"

Thanks for the shared information BroSEPH...

This is another classical sign and news regarding Turkish SUPERIORITY...

Your SUPERIOR Turkish MASTERS grew and excel in all fields it lays its hands on..

I respect your opinion but don't get mad when other people put other red lines in front of you and when you ultimately lose your right to free speech.
This is actually a very good argument to be fair, initially I was in agreement that hard-r is too far, but this makes an amazing point - eventually other forms of genuine free speech criticism will be banned because of vague reasons like "racism" even if it may not be.

Freedom of speech is important

TF-X is a classical example of this..
TFX is a melting pot of F22 and F35, with older engines (and far from having a radar or a IR system). Nothing special, nothing original.
Where is the superiority when you are only able to copy and paste ?

Same with your attack helo and its gun.

Same with your next MBT which is a copy of K2, itself a copy of Leclerc.

Nothing new under the turkish sun. Just harsh copy.

360 degree radar coverage has never been done before, as well as pilot health monitoring system and AI takeover in case something happens to the pilot.. There are some original features that's never been done before.

Altay has a completely different layout and many different features, not like it matters because it's not in production.

About the helo... which one?
