Well, the blame lies with the insane Mullah regime. Pre-1979 there was no hostility with any Arab country other than Iraq due to support of Kurdish separatists and failed attempts at meddling. People of Arabia, in particular Eastern Arabia, know the genuine Persians (from Southern Iran) better than any other foreigners. They have lived among us for millennia and vice versa. Many intermarriages as well. For instance the foreign minister of UAE that so many Pakistanis are against for his past Twitter comments, is actually of paternal Iranian origin. His surname gives it away. Yet he is fiercely pro-Arab and anti-Iran. This is the power of Arab culture. Another example, as I mentioned, are the descendants of Saladdin. All Arab. All intermarrying with Arabs for 20-25 generations. There is no such strong culture anywhere in the region.
You have Chinese Hui, Nigerians, Bosnians etc. in Hijaz all dying for KSA and solely identifying as Saudi Arabians and Arabs.
If you ask some Iranian Arab he will tell you that he is an Arab first and a citizen of Iran second. Same with the other minorities.
Kurds in Iraq would be doing the same if not for conflicts/wars etc.
Even Jews in the Arab world did the same for millennia. Many do to this day despite following Judaism.
Even the most anti-Arab entity (arguably, although this could be argued), Israel, is incorporating Arab culture and branding it as Israeli. Be it music, cuisine, dress, history, architecture, land etc.
