The role of tribal pushtuns is largely exaggerrated, people from all over pakistan fought for the liberation of kashmir. It all started in september 1947 when the hindu maharaja started a genocidal campaign to force muslim kashmiris out of the kashmir valley and to make it a hindu only kashmir. Ex-soldiers of poonch faught back and the help arrived later. Fearing defeat that hindu asked for help in delhi and you know the rest.
It just doesn't make sense giving all the credit to pushtuns and afghanis think pakistanis use pushtuns to fight their war.
kashmiri scouts were the real liberators of kashmir
Your facts are just not accurate. Though people from all over Pakistan fought in Kashmir, but tribals have a special contribution.
