The M-84AS is a modernized version of the M-84 main battle tank produced by Yugoimport SDPR in Serbia. M-84AS is sometimes refeared to as M-84AB1 and M-2001.

M-84D
The M-84D is a direct successor of the M-84a4,whilst the M-95 Degman is a direct successor of a project codenamed M-91 Vihor (which had only 1 prototype). There are also small differences in the turret design. The M-95 degman has new tracks produced by Diehl who also produces tracks for the German Leopard 2
