Taliban say 'Islamic system' only way to Afghan peace, women's rights

9/11 the ridiculous show was an American planned job. The price was occupation of Afghanistan. Question is, Who helped USA? Who allowed terrorists have their base in Afghanistan? I can't find any answer but only Sauds and Americans.

. .
Corruption is not something easy to eliminate, even our province, Aceh, which implement Shariah Law like happening in Saudi cannot prevent their own Governor to do corruption either, and it is our Anti Corruption Body (KPK) who is able to detect it and put him into jail.

Changing the system into Islamic Law is not necessary will change the nation if people who do the system are still corrupt.

Islamic Law anyway is not something difficult to implement, under Indonesian current law we can insert Islamic Law easily into our positive law, Islamic Law that Muslim countries are still not yet adopting is only in criminal law section, it just need parliament approval through voting.

The Muslim like Taliban who prefer to kill their own brother in order to solve this small differences instead of making compromize and let Afghan people to decide through democracy ( another form of Syura) is the one that become the main problem

You need to understand Afghan culture and a little of it's history.
  • Afghanistan is a tribal country
  • 75% of the country live in rural areas.
  • The literacy rate is 40% (I doubt it's even that high)
  • It has only ever had kingdoms and tribal government
  • Afghans have a culture of revenge
  • Ethnic conflict has been a part of Afghanistan for centuries
Anything short of civil war in that country should be considered a miracle for now.
Hey @waz @The Eagle @LeGenD what happened to banning religious discussion?

It's relevant to the subject matter.

. .
And what if Afghanistan after the Taliban takeover started developing and then becomes better than Pakistan in every economic indicator like Bangladesh did.Man you would be pissed.

something like soviet military power.

.
they will drag afghanistan to hell again and worse part will be pakistan will remain unstable and loaded of migrants . if there is no stability in afghanistan then forget peace in pakistan too . we have stuck in deep mess from east and west. three major border countries are in hands of right wing extremists

This is why I was a never a fan of the Pro-Taliban mindset or strategy of Pakistans dealings, and why, I never understood Pakistans decision making.

The last 20 years should have been used to form a difference choice away from both the Northern Alliance and the Taliban - and in this regard, the USA and Pakistan(and all of the other neighbours) failed ..

The problem is that it was always forced to become a binary choice for Pakistan, work with people who support you/you have some influence over ( eg Taliban ) or those who will work against you ( ie former relics of what was called the Northern Alliance) and who will actively work with India to undermine you. That is the reality of the "hobson's choice" that Pakistan is faced with.

Afghanistan is now so broken now that it will take them 50-70 years to put in the "right direction" and fix, but if you have the "beards" in control making decisions, then i dont see how you even set the direction or tone.

Afghanistan will regress into a medival society more than it has currently. The only way to engage is allow them to democratically participate and use the leverage of time to remove "the guns" from "the beards.." to an extent ( though it is not culturally so strong now, i dont see how that can be done. ) but only if the democratic framework can be maintained.

The Americans failed to show good faith to Pakistan, and that is why we are in the mess we are in right now.

The best that Pakistan can do is build a border and dont let them come into Pakistan as new refugees and send back all existing refugees and then leave them to their own devices.

Sure, the Taliban would send an Afghan to the International Space Station and allow Afghan women to participate in the society.

. .
If an Islamic form of government is what the majority of Afghans wants, then they can elect the Taliban in a democratic election. Even the women can vote for themselves and decide if this system is good for their rights and interests.

I'm also curious to see what mainstream Pakistani public (outside the rabid nationalistic crowd in defense forums) have to say on this topic. Would they prefer a democratic Afghanistan?

.
that is not justice system but utter BS no fair trail no inquiry not even investication . let me remind you under this justice how many mascares happen from mazar e sharif to kandhar .that is stone age system might is right . what you are asking is total civil war and destruction of pakistan as a country .
THERE LAW OF TALIBAN IS 1000 TIME BETTER THE LAW OF PAKISTAN MAJORITY PEOPLE ARE CURRUPT IN PAKISTAN WHO YOU KIDDING

Current Afghan government already use Shariah Islam, but Taliban wants their own version of Shariah Islam (their interpretation)

Taliban delegation in Doha, Qatar, and in Pakistan...

They are all very educated in Shariah, many are educated in Islamic laws, Fiqh, Quran and Hadiths...

Very tough negotiators as Trump has said.

And they never bow down to the Wordly Gods...

Only uneducated morons are saying that Talibans are brutal and against women rights...

And all sorts of propaganda like they are against women education is printed in western press...more girls schools are functioning in Taliban controlled areas in Afghanistan, there were zero Opium cultivation when they ruled there, and western border of Pakistan was the most peaceful.

Regardless of any personal opinions, Afghans do have the right to determine how they wish to be governed in their own country. We all must respect that right at all times.
