Taiwan Warns It Will "Fight To Very Last Day" If China Attacks As US Warship Transits Strait

Where are the Taiwanese? All we are watching American and its buddies raising voices to defend Taiwan. Are they so rich they hired all the Americans and its lackey as mercenaries to fight China? what these lackeys can do is talk, and who come forward for a walk before Chinese armed forces to bear the brunt? None.

Doesn't mean he don't make mistake like human being.

CPC has multiple people brainstorm the best financial system for China vs 1 person , Jack ma. Who has higher chance of better system? Jack ma or CPC?

Well of course no human being is perfect no matter how much money he or she possesses

Thank you for a great post.
My point is why not issue administrative action or fines against ant ?
?? I don't see what you suggest would help fix the problem that Chinese regulator see.

Chinese regulator see a potential systemic financial market risk, and took action to protect China against that risk.

Jack Ma argue that

I actually believe Ma when he said that the risk is low. Since the loan financial algorithm has been trial and used successful for China poverty alleviation program. China should be grateful for Ant contribution in helping so many poor people in rural China, and Ant should benefit by marketing the technology it has gain in the process.

But Chinese regulator did not stop Ant's financial "development" or innovation from happening. It just limit the speed and scale.

Which I believe many in China would agree it is the prudent thing to do. Because of the enormous size of Ant's market, the systemic financial risk is also big, given the risk, there is no need to rush, just because of the potential gain in financial efficiency.

Watch this video at 1:16 where Billionaire Xhang Zin talks about democracy,
All I can say is, it is so fake it is hilarious.

But what she said in the CBS interview is only natural.
It is preposterous to think that only CCP members can think about the country and the rest of the people that just bunch of idiots. This kind of thinking creates a gap between the people and the ruler which keeps only growing for the worst in the future.

When power is distributed among the population it cannot all go bad real quick as it so happened with MAO.
Millions of Chinese are buying properties all over the Western world and Australia and not vice versa.

For Taiwan, according to its own strategy of destroying an invasion force before it lands, would need to have offensive deep strike capabilities at least 33-50% of the capability of their adversary, the PLA. They would have to turn their entire society into a military focused state.

The Taiwanese Air Force would probably need to have at least 500 top of the line 4th and 5th generation fighters at a minimum as well as a robust AH-64 fleet in the hundreds. Drones in the air, on the sea, and under the waves would be preferable additions. Acquiring at least a hundred batteries of Israeli Iron Dome systems would help dent PLA PGM attacks, and thousands of long range cruise missiles would probably be needed to give the Taiwanese an offensive punch.

It’s not an impossible feat but one that require a change in their society their people may not be willing to make, as it will cut into funding for other things. Unless, the US wants to bank roll this like it does for Israel. 500 top of the line fighters (evenly split between F-16 Block 70 and F-35s) and 500 AH-64E, a few thousand stealthy and/or supersonic cruise missiles and a hundred plus Israeli air defense batteries over ten years would probably do the trick. Would American taxpayers be willing to give Taiwan $10 Billion worth of weapons and support every year for at least a decade.

Equally, the PLA, PLAN, and PLAAF could just make its own PGMs and cruise missiles more numerous and stealthy. It could ramp up invasion vehicle production (ships and helicopters) and its own land based artillery could have its range and precision made longer and more accurate enough to offset anything Taiwan does. This is a classic arms race, China is well equipped to wage, and spin off export products to recoup its investments. This is also a battle of wills. If the PLA has a fleet of thousands of Z-20 and Z-10s and thousands of Y-9s, it could conceivably be a robust invasion force at a moments notice. The Taiwanese would be left guess as the helicopters wouldn’t be dependent on the tides. Post-invasion these aircraft could easily be sold off to export customers around the world and allow the Chinese recoup their investments.

it wouldn’t be a surprise if the Chinese are developing a super long range gun, they can mass produce and place a few hundred kms from their coast with the range to cover all of Taiwan with super accurate fire, similar to what America is researching. This alone may be a significant deterrent if the fire a warning salvo clear over Taiwan onto a floating target on the other side, sending home the message.

A gun with only a third of what the is is developing maybe powerful enough, if produced in large numbers. This would also expand the war front from just the coastal areas and the seas, to nearly all of south eastern China, allowing the PLA to use more of its land army while allowing its navy, Air Force, and marines to focus on the actual invasion.

Also, if the Chinese develop such a system, I’m sure they would find a willing customer in Pakistan. It would take precision fire capabilities of the Pakistan Army to a new level; a true paradigm shift.

probably what the shells would look like:

One of own Pakistani brothers covered this system in detail.

Taiwan GDP: 0.6 trillion
China GDP: 17 trillion

Whatever they can afford, China can afford more.

Iron Dome does not stop PGM. it stops slow Palestinian rockets built in basements. it has a puny 90 kg missile. 90 kg doesn't give you alot of propellant. It literally cannot even catch most missiles.

This is PLAN's basic air defense. 1300 kg, mach 4 missile with optional booster payloads capable of shooting down ballistic missiles and satellites. It isn't even close.

Well, the Chinese gov't has one of the world highest approval rating. The vast majority of Chinese people agree with gov't/CPC policy.

Anyway, I am going off-topic, I will stop now.

Squandered? Then how did HSR and so much infrastructure exists in China? No countries are perfect but China corruption level is one of the lowest ong so much nation. Don't tell me poor people do not use roads or they don't used bridges.

You are delusion. China CPC is definitely much better than corrupted western leaders who only know how to enrich themselves and spread fake news to smear CPC.

Indeed, HSR is faked , all those fancy infrastructure are just CG in video. All those China space feat are all studio effect.

You are living in denial. :enjoy:

Chinese benefit from many CPC policy. Even Jack ma get rich becos CPC gives everybody opportunities to be somebody. In other countries, you will need heavy connections , corruption and pull string to achieve something.

So you are saying China can advance so rapidly and eradicate poverty is because of Chinese culture instead of CCP?

Taiwan just signed $1.8 billion arms deal with US

US approves $1.8bn weapons sale to Taiwan

Taiwan is about sign another $5.1 billion arms deal with US

Psaki: Biden Admin. Not Looking For Confrontation With China

The Biden administration is continuing to drag its feet when it comes to China, despite mounting aggression from the Communist state.

The latest instance of this policy of appeasement came about during Friday’s White House press briefing.

A reporter asked White House press secretary Jen Psaki about the administration’s views on a series of military exercises carried out by the People’s Liberation Army near Taiwan on Monday.

The air and sea drills raised concerns they could point to an approaching Chinese invasion of the island, but Psaki refused to give a straight answer. Instead, she pointed out the Biden administration does not want to make an enemy of China.

“Well, first, let me say that we’re not looking, as you know, for confrontation with China,” Psaki stated. “So, we are watching that closely. I can’t make any other predictions from here.”

This came amid backlash over Biden’s skinny budget released on Friday, which critics said puts national security behind social projects on the Democrat agenda.
