sorry i cant see same names as much as i can see between azerbaijanis and other iranians, maybe some new turkish names. but majority names and surnames are as same as other iranian. only in influence of russian language, "zade" changed to "iev". many use "zade" and many use "iev". i still couldnt find any azerbaijanis in surname of aksoy for example. your culture is close but not as ours. your culture is also close to iranians. many words and pronunciation are different while in last decades they have tried alot to use new istanbuli turkish words in azeri turki. as i said its only about languages. whole the history, all poets and poem, letters and ... says different and all of them are in persian. while azeri turki is second language in iran and no one consider it as foreign language nad people completely used to hear it among themselves. the life of whole this being turk is about few decades. day by day more people believe they are more azerbaijanli than turks.
