TAI started 20-person helicopter project

TAI's helicopter program reached 5 with a minimum 20-person helicopter development program announced by Temel Kotil. These include ATAK, the new version of the attack helicopter, the T625 civil helicopter, the new 20+ general purpose helicopter development, and the Sikorsky T70 joint production program.
TAI currently produces the original ATAK T129 attack helicopters, which are the Turkish version of the Italian-made Agusta A129 helicopter. Sikorsky will allow the same number of helicopters to be exported by TAI. The T625 program will be the first domestic design helicopter developed by Turkey. For this helicopter, TEI affiliate TEI develops an engine at 1400 horsepower.
