Yeah its an aircraft and any aircraft can be shot down, unless China invented a helicopter that cant be shot down.

But he is right in what he says. He doesn't say "helicopters cannot be shot down", he says "helicopters can be shot down, therefor future belongs to unmanned systems", at least for those air platforms to be risked in operation zone.

Yeah if you have an intel which says there is no threat, go and use your manned helicopter.

No It’s not one or the other both are used in combat

I am sure Turks are using UAV in this operation

Unmanned aircraft still have atttrious crash rate around 3 times that of manned units for unmanned helo even higher

This is not even proof, not even related. Other T-129 pilot may very well fired flares just in case after he saw other helicopter down.

The only thing that known is; T-129 did not shot down by manpads, it's so clear in the video. It either shot down with one anti-air gun (like doçka), or it faced engine failure. There are of course some other possibilities such as pilots may got immediate heart attack etc but possibility is so low.

If it was hit by a missile you would see flames or a helicopter rotating/fall apart. Also a missile that is launched from a manpads makes a lot of noise. Didnt hear anything..

And no other helicopters would patrol there if there was a SAM threat.

Let me tell how this deal will end. Pakistan will place an order to buy ATAK, everything is good until our terrorist lover ally Usa will put an veto on the engines and will screw this sale. I dont even understand why pakistan tries to buy atak since they surely know how this will deal will outcome?

pakistan planning to buy some Zulus to offset that..but if it doesnt work we owuld probably wait
