It was artificially appreciated. Wont just oppose for the sake of it as three main parties do.
Having said that, previous govt inflated dollar price, PTI depreciated it too much on the diktat of IMF.
TELL me one thing? IMF goons, Hafeez pasha and Governor state bank Reza Baqir are from which faction of PTI? Who is running Pak economy?

According to almost all of the analysts, Imran Khan has performed excellently in all of his tasks as the PM. Establishment is a bit surprised because he performed better than expected.
There are somethings that are beyond I.K's control for example the economy. I.K has to take decisions regarding economy only by recommendation of the myriad of financial advisers and economists as they know economy more than him. The economic team will see some changes in the future and will get better with time and so will the economy.
You have to understand that so many educated economists can never be unanimous in error. You have to give some time to the government. The only problem now is the bureaucratic red tape and corruption that is being fixed at a fast rate because the Pakistani people, the establishment, and the intelligentsia have decided to fix Pakistan once and for all.
The army has decided to finish the old status quo for ever. You will now see fewer and fewer of the older, familiar faces.

Creating sustainable economy: Creating sustainable economy is not going to be an easy task, economist will have to think outside the box and come up with creative ideas for investment and to safeguard the existing industries. Chinese should be encouraged to invest in automotive industry and technology. We need massive invest in tourism and IT industry.

Investment from friendly countries: In the past our government cheated Arabs companies by asking them to invest in fake projects. IK has to give them assurance that their money will be protected and they will be able to make money. Create rules across the board for easy of business where local & foreign investors can investment and their money will be protect by the law.
Cut our loses and invest in new technology: We should immediately cut our loses on state run businesses since most of them are losing money.
Innovative ideas: Need to invest in new innovative ideas in agriculture fields by using latest technology and Techniques.

BlockChain and similar system can be used to consolidate DBs. Land and house records has to be all digitalized otherwise non-resident Pakistani will not take the risk. There so many previous cases against land grab and Jali real estate dealers selling same land to multiple person. Bahria town case has created doubt in the mind of investors. Government has to created Law to protect investment. Law has to on the consumer side otherwise forget about real estate investment.

Digitalize every system and automate 25% of the government processes to cut the government overhead.

Digitalize daily attendance for all federal and provincial government offices including police.

Let’s take police for example....
In current system Whole province police is under IG police of the province. PTI government in Punjab want DIG (of police) in the district should be under District Coordination Officer (DCO) of the district and DCO should report to CM of the province.
IMHO, this should be further decentralized, Each city should have their own police. For example, Karachi should have their own police and police should hire from Karachi not from interior Sindh. Provincial system should be their to for audit and monitoring purpose.
Digitalize each police station with CC cameras. Yearly physical fitness exam and performance review of the department. Anyone not performing should be demoted, those who are performing exceptionally should be promoted. It will be easy to manage and remove bad apples.

Government should focus on following...
1. health -
Training program will create new job opportunities. We need government funded hospitals and clinics.
2. IT - joint venture between Government and Private sector will create new jobs, we need to get into applications development, VR, gaming industry, cyber security and cloud support.
3. education - one education standard for all Pakistan (National Education Standard), new schools, colleges, vocational colleges/institutions and universities.
4. housing - Government and private sector need to work together to develop new and affordable housing societies.
5. retail - huge potential in retail industry. Developing local brand and supporting local industries is equally important.
6. exports - New industries needs to be setup, new techniques in irrigation will improve agriculture exports. As I have mentioned many time that government must institute of economic development and foreign policy.
7. tourism - new vacation resorts and proper marketing campaign can help develop this industry. *Marketing campaign in friendly countries, including China, Iran, Turkey, Azerbaijan, Russia, Arab countries and rest of the world.*

If you have read a bit more carefully you would have noticed one reason IK is tied up is because of parliamentary system where he has a razor thin majority and blackmail from allies and cant take effective reforms so a presidential form of govt is ESSENTIAL where top experts can be ministers because they dont have to be MP. Experts can give better advice too.
It is other thing I think BAJWA will be an excellent president.

If you have read a bit more carefully you would have noticed one reason IK is tied up is because of parliamentary system where he has a razor thin majority and blackmail from allies and cant take effective reforms so a presidential form of govt is ESSENTIAL where top experts can be ministers because they dont have to be MP. Experts can give better advice too.
It is other thing I think BAJWA will be an excellent president.

Yes IK hands are tied down but will the greedy politicians allow someone to take power from them???
One more thing, public of Pakistan votes thinking the same way as a voter of presidential system. They think that PM has power to do anything. But they don't know that they are empowering the people below him.

Parliamentary form of govt is nothing more than blackmail, totally unsuited for Pakistan. There is nothing IK could do except saying I wont give NRO. But people didn't make him PM just for that. Economy, police, local bodies and all those reforms.
