I am not a lawyer, but as I understand it, the SC said that as things stand, this should be seen with 62 and 63, and hence lifetime disqualification.
But, the parliament should make a clear law on this going into the future.
The more important things is, was this an organic decisions, or a lollipop to the PTI and public by the estab? A face saving opportunity? PTI gets a piece of the pie in Punjab, SC gets to save face as well.

IMO, the election should be considered void and declared as no party having majority, since the votes of dissenting members are not counted. We should now be proceeding to the second stage of voting where a simple majority does the job.
