tamils do not attack anyone at all! Though I'm not a tamilian, I've lived there for several years and I have yet to see them have a SINGLE thing against any other Indian. In fact I feel quite embarassed when I look at tams who welcome mallus with open arms and praise that culture when within mallus there was a lot of disdian towards tams. If you're talking about issues between sinhalese and tams, that's because you don't know history. There was a time when tamilians were discriminated by sinhalese in sri lanka, including segregation, denial of education in school and jobs. This was not just a societal attitude but govt. policy. No matter how much sri lankans deny this, that was the true root of the rise of LTTE and associated collateral damage.
Again stop posting BS if you dont know indept about the subject..The Tamils that were disenfranchised in the 50's were the so called Indian Tamils or the Plantation Tamils that were bought to the island by the British in the 19th century as indentured labour for the tea industry..That had nothing to do with ethinic discrimination but nationalism..It was the SL Tamil leaders such as G G Ponnambalam and Chelvanayakan that instigated the process because they never accepted that community as thier own,And till to this date they dont..Later years this policy was reversed and thousands of Plantation Tamils were granted Lankan citizenship
The irony of all this is the Plantation Tamil community was never involved in the seperatist movement and always elected thier leaders aligned to the government
