Wikipedia lists only the heads of departments etc etc........ you don't know of their prodigies........... most are state secrets.......... even the figure I gave you is a very low estimate.............

I will have to ask knowledge people about this number. I imagine that it is a state secret but I bet that there are qualified estimates. Even for a 200 million big nation like Pakistan 100.000 nuclear physicists (I am talking about those fully capable of keeping track of the entire process) seems a bit too far-fetched.

It would surprise me if the US (325 million people or so) had even 500.000 of such people.
