Son of deposed Shah begs Israel to help Iranian opposition

The son of Iran's deposed shah (king), has, in an interview with Israel's Channel 10 TV, asked Tel Aviv to increase its cooperation with the Iranian opposition.


“The children of Cyrus; the children of Queen Esther…need your help,” Reza Pahlavi said.

“In addition to negotiation and war, there is also a third way for dealing with the Iranian establishment, which should be chosen. It is neither negotiation, nor war, but mobilizing a powerful army which is now ready to topple the [Islamic] establishment,” he added.

A traitor to Iran and the Iranians, Pahlavi noted that if he met face-to-face with Israeli President Shimon Peres, or Israel’s Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, he would tell them that the Iranian opposition needs the help of Israel and other “democratic nations” to topple the Islamic establishment.

I Cannot Defend What He Said But Why Are You Taking The Anger Out On His Father.Shah Mohamed Reza Pahlavi Contributed A Whole Lot To The Modernisation of Iran(I Would Provide Details In Some Other Post).Iran Was In The Sixties and Seventies What ASEAN and China and Korea Are Today.Iran Was A Regional Military and Economic Power Even Respected By The Very Nations You Call Him A Stooge Of.At That Time Iran Was Extending Loans and Financial Assistance To UK and France.Yes The Shah Did Have His Shortcomings.He Was Dictatorial and Did Not Understand The Religious Sensitivities Of His People.
As Far As Being A Stooge Was Concerned,He Was No More A Stooge Than The Gulf Sheikhdoms.In Fact If He Remained In Power Iran Would Have Been as Modern and Developed as Dubai If Not More.
