To give a hilarious example of how non-believers would treat a Hindu deity, something Hindus would not do.

Did you mean vegetarians?Vaishnava temples on the other hand are strictly non-vegetarians.
Depends on the temple. Kali puja and a lot of Shiv puja involves sacrifice, where meat is kept in front of the deity. Ancestor worship also entails meat as part of offerings. Vaishnava temples on the other hand are strictly non-vegetarians.

Temples are not tourist places neither are they museums. Temples have undergone a lot of persecution already and hence this rule was formulated. It is not unusual for a new convert to Christianity or Islam to come and defecate or throw feces on the idols. It used to be a routine practice in fact. People clicking photos of the shrine despite being told to not do so, sitting with their boots pointed towards the deity are all very common occurrences. Then they post it on blogs and facebooks making fun of the deities.
Instead of giving an opportunity for a riot to break out, it is better to ban people who have no belief in the deities from entering the temples.
Ofcourse it depends!!!
My point is, if you're disrespectful towards followers of a religion(be it hinduism or Islam) then dont expect entry into their religious places.
Like it or not they are big tourist attraction.
That's gross generalization not everyone from a different faith is carrying feces or intend to hurt religious sentiments, even then adequate security can be provided in the temple premises ,even after it happens temple authority can file a case against anyone doing so.Throw them in jail.
Electronic items can be easily banned for security purposes.
solution of such issue is not banning and pre judging ppl of different faith, which is impractical but having more regulations and security in temple premises.

If you're talking about Omnists then they dont enter mosques and temples with beef/pork and wine.No my point was against your point when you said all believers must be allowed in temple or mosque etc. But If all are believers , why mosques, temples and etc.. why not one place.. lol. This means some one from them is not a believer otherwise they would all follow similar belief.
because hindu beliefs are not centred to anything static. In your ved purans, the stories are full of fight among gods and gods insulting gods. May be I fail to understand the basic fundamental behind this.I think non Hindus in India can easily insult Hindu beliefs and get away with it. Out shows how bad their religious beliefs are
yalla kadenu ogi nodidira neevu??.It is not there in any devasthana, either chikka or dodda. Smaller temples are road side shrine like. It is so small, no one can enter the temple, dalit or a brahmin.
