Somnath temple to restrict entry of non-Hindus

.
You should read the article you posted. The temple is open to all HIndus. The Dalit man was not banned from entering the temple or worship, but only from playing his elathalam there.. It is the tradition of the temple is Marars are the only ones who can play the instruments there. So even if a Brahmin had asked to play the elathalam he would have been denied permission.
Read the article again & please this time carefully. It has clearly written -
There is an age-old tradition in the temple that only Marar community (an upper class community) members should beat drum instruments.
Rules are not same for everyone in that temple.

My intention is not to defame any religion but I wonder what will be the reaction of Hindu extremists if other religions in India impose ban on entry of Hindus in their religious places.

There is a fundamental difference between a Hindu visiting different religious places and other coming to the temple. Hindus believe in all Gods, so when they go to the church or the dargah, they go with utmost devotion because they believe in the deity there. That is not the case with others visiting Hindu temples. Do Christians/Muslims believe in Krishna or Shiva? They basically come there out of touristic interest or curiosity. Temples are no place for such secular endeavor.

You should read it. The age old tradition is that Marar community which happens to be an upper caste community which should play the instruments. Marars are only one faction of the Nair caste. Meaning even other nairs are not allowed to play those instruments. Neither are Brahmins or any other caste allowed to do so. So the tradition is specific to Marars only and nobody else.

Rules are the same for everyone as far as worship and right of entry to the temple is concerned.

So you mean Hindus believe in Jesus Christ & Hazrat Mohammad. Then why are you guys opposing construction of Babri Masjid ? :undecided:

. . .
There are many local village deity temples in Tamilnadu(like many in Madurai,Nellai,Dharmapuri districts),which bans Dalits entry..

Impossible in TN considering that Brahmins in TN hide themselves from plain sight. Provide proof.

In any case, a Temple is not a free for all. There are rules that govern entering a temple.

I don't think anyone is opposing the construction of any mosque - how many mosques have been constructed since 1947 in India?

The opposition is to building it at a spot considered extremely important to the Hindu faith. We can argue about whether there really stood a temple there or not - but historically, there this little doubt - that in the worst case scenario the mosque was built by destroying a temple and the best case scenario being that it was built as a slight to Hindus in one of their holiest spots.
