Good question. It's why it is a stupid rule. Only foreigners can be identified in this manner. If a Muslim or a Christian walked in, no one would be the wiser unless they themselves brought it to attention. Don't know if they will ask Sikhs to step aside since they are identifiable. Idiotic.

le,naan helta irodu ondond halli kade kelavondu chikku gudigalu(chikka devasthana) irthala, adara bagge, not dodda mukhyada devasthanas..btw-Dalits in Tamilnadu are being oppressed by non brahminical castes, mainly OBC castes like vanniyar, gownder, nadars etc...
In Tamilnau its mainly Dalits vs OBC's..

It is not there in any devasthana, either chikka or dodda. Smaller temples are road side shrine like. It is so small, no one can enter the temple, dalit or a brahmin.

Impossible in TN considering that Brahmins in TN hide themselves from plain sight. Provide proof.

In any case, a Temple is not a free for all. There are rules that govern entering a temple.
Nope,Its not with Tamil Brahmins,I am talking about non Brahmin, non Dalit groups like vanniyar,Thevar etc...They are the most Dalit hating groups..
just google-'Dalits in Madurai' for more.
Dalit caste violences are very common in Tamilnadu, the last main one was in 2012..Google-Dharmapuri violence..

In my opinion every believer should be allowed to visit a religious place, be it temple or a mosque, but after a thorough security check.

What if that believer holds beef in one hand or pork or wine in one hand or chicken etc and enters mandir? For him according to his culture it is allowed (respectively).

Those who disrespect religions would definitely not get an entry, be it a mosque or temple.

But in Mosque during eid gosht is distributed outside and sometimes even inside after roza. And they are believers. Similar if done in Mandir then? Finally both are believers only .. :)

I'm sure pork is not distributed there. Right??

Do you think a guy who does this(your quote below) would get an entry into a mosque??....

You're clearly trolling,I wont be replying back to your posts on this thread.

I dont know about other religions but why a muslim need visit a mandar?
A muslim cannot go to mandar for darshan of idols.
Hindus have every right to restrict their religios places for nonhindus.

Will they check ID's ?

Lot of ppl visit temples to see India's cultural history and amazing architecture,
We are losing a tourist attraction.

If temple authority has issues with any activity which hurts its sentiments they should bring that into notice.

Depends on the temple. Kali puja and a lot of Shiv puja involves sacrifice, where meat is kept in front of the deity. Ancestor worship also entails meat as part of offerings. Vaishnava temples on the other hand are strictly vegetarians.

Temples are not tourist places neither are they museums. Temples have undergone a lot of persecution already and hence this rule was formulated. It is not unusual for a new convert to Christianity or Islam to come and defecate or throw feces on the idols. It used to be a routine practice in fact. People clicking photos of the shrine despite being told to not do so, sitting with their boots pointed towards the deity are all very common occurrences. Then they post it on blogs and facebooks making fun of the deities.

Instead of giving an opportunity for a riot to break out, it is better to ban people who have no belief in the deities from entering the temples.
