1-We believe Islam started from Adam, Christianity itself was islam in its time.
2-Allah is the god and Abraham is the prophet.
3-God of these 3 religions is the same, we say Khoda(Allah) and you say god.

Just to add a point
Moses(PBUH) and Jesus(PBUH) are also Prophets of Allah and one cannot be muslims if he does not accept this.

Muslims saying each other non Muslims are product of Intolerance between sects.Essentially Sunnis and Shias are same except with few differences.

This is a philosophical question and should be posed in scholarly circles. People bring these things to gossip at the grocerers (or at this forum!) and common people who are not equipped to engage in scholarly discourse turn to the only way they know - sticks and stones, and now bullets and bombs.

That said, as Hanafii Sunnite we are instructed to 'not classify as non-Muslim someone who confesses to be one'.

Of course there are patently false beliefs and glaring misinterpretation of the doctrines that exist in some sects, but this one's not for this forum!

i heard that shias sunnis etc ...all believe in ...one same prophet...
Not just one, but the complete line of Messengers in believed in by all sects I know of.

Hope the reply helped.

What you speak of above is a consequence of intolerance, misconceptions, vested interests and bias. Beliefs of the Ahl-Sunnah wa'Jam'ah and the Shi'atu Ali (Twelvers) are almost identical with the primary difference being the concept of Imamah held by Shi'ah Muslims. Even within these two large umbrellas are smaller denominations with differences over more minute matters.

After death of Prophet Muhammad there was disagreement on his successor. Some wanted the leadership should remain in the family of Muhammad and some wanted to chose the leader among anyone of his followers. Ali was his cousin and son-in-law so many wanted him to be the leader. This faction was called Shian-Ali or supporters of Ali. This faction later became Shia. While the other faction, called Sunni from Sunnat, won and Abu Bakar, then Omar, and then Osman became leaders of Islam. Ali was then selected as the fourth caliph. The Shia don't recognize the first three leaders and believe that only progeny of Muhammad has the right to be Caliph and Imam. This factionalism also led to tragic death of Hussain, grandson of Muhmmad and son of Ali. The Shias and Sunnis have diverged in interpretation of theology. Both Shia and Sunni regard each other as Muslims. There are few extremist subsects that consider each other heretics.

we Christians believe that the the Lord sent His son(Jesus) to wash the sin of mankind(since Lord promised not to wipe out the world as in the period of Noah IMO) and He(Jesus) had some disciples to carry out His work and then He returned to the Lord in the form of Holy Ghost. and thats how we believe in Trinity.

and whom do you refer as prophet Mohammad?

We Muslims consider Jesus (AS) as Prophet of Allah (God) and unless we accept him as prophet our faith can not complete so its part of our faith to consider him as our Prophet.

Christians believe that Jesus was crucified whereas we Muslims believe that he was taken alive to skies by Allah (God) and Jesus will appear on the day of the judgment.

Muhammad (PBUH) is the Last Prophet of Allah(God) and prophethood completed on him thats we Muslims believe and its part of completion of our Faith

Islam says that Jesus or Essa (PBUH) is the Prophet and Messenger of Allah but not his son . No offense please.

and Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the last Prophet of Allah. Allah revealed the Last Holy Book The Quran on the Prophet Muhammad (SAW). Prophet Muhammad (SAW) is the great great grand son of Abraham (Ibrahim A.S.) through Ishmail (Ismail A.S.).

just my few little knowledge points.

This is one of the differences between Islam and Christianity. As per Islamic beliefs, the Lord begets not, nor is He begotten. Hence, the Prophet Mohammad (S) is a Messenger, a Mercy to Mankind, and the last in the line of such. Muslims carry the same beliefs concerning the Prophet Esa (Jessus) (A) in that he was a mercy of the Almighty upon mankind, His chosen messenger and that he preceded our last Prophet (S). Moreover, these two great Holy Prophets have a special status for they brought with them the words of the Lord enshrined in the Injeel (Bible) and the Qu'ran. However, Muslims belief that the Injeel has become victim to the human hand whereas the Qu'ran in it's wording is without error. Thus, Muslims do not believe in Holy Jesus (A) as the 'son' of any other than Holy Mary (Marium) (SA). Thus, the concept of Trinity as in Christianity does not arise.

i used to study in a semi religious school. one of our teachers who taught us Aqaeed used to say the shias are kaffir, and he aslo called those people kaffir if they believed man had ever land on the surface of the moon lol. you can imagine how some mullahs are ignorant.

@Pasban, some people say that out of 124000 prophet, Zardosht might be one of them. but who knows.

That could indeed be possible perhaps. In any case let's not introduce the Zarthusht in this thread.
