but the evidences of crucification were found right?

and wats the difference between Judaism and Islam??

This is another difference that you have just highlighted. Muslims do not accept that the crucification occurred. The primary differences between Islam and Judaism occur from their (the Jews) non-acceptance of the Prophet Esa (Jessus) (A) and thus the link is broken to the last Prophet Mohammad (S).

with all due respect can u tell us what evidences have been found?
i only know of 1 which is the shroud of turin which was believed to have been the piece of cloth in which Jesus was placed but was proved false by radioactive carbon dating in 1988.

^^^^ but the idea that there was a son of god & he got crucified predates christianity. It is believed to be from some mythology type ideas.

i think non of us here should go to prove one or other points, this is belief. we believe in one thing and the christians and others believe in something else. religion is not to be proved or disproved.

It is going to be a had sell, regardless since we have to go by Quran.
Thanks for the link though.

I do wish to know what is the fate of non christins like muslims, jews etc per christian teachings?

When Jesus said" I bring you sword, not peace" what did he mean by that?

Thanks in advance.

I ll have to open my bible for that! but seriously, dont take it the wrong way I was really asking..........

here is the full verse:
"Do not think that I came to bring peace on the earth; I did not come to bring peace, but a sword. For I came to set a man against his father, and a daughter against her mother, and a daughter-in-law against her mother-in-law; and a man’s enemies will be the members of his household. He who loves father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me; and he who loves son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of Me. And he who does not take his cross and follow after Me is not worthy of Me. He who has found his life will lose it, and he who has lost his life for My sake will find it." (Matthew 10:34-39 NASB)

it was said in the context that one's ultimate priority should be given to Jesus, not to his son, father, etc which belongs to him...

hope you could understand. takin words in Bible in plain context wont realy convey the message which it intented to, bcoz it has gone translation for many generations....

After death of Prophet Muhammad there was disagreement on his successor. Some wanted the leadership should remain in the family of Muhammad and some wanted to chose the leader among anyone of his followers. Ali was his nephew and son-in-law so many wanted him to be the leader. This faction was called Shian-Ali or supporters of Ali. This faction later became Shia. While the other faction, called Sunni from Sunnat, won and Abu Bakar, then Omar, and then Osman became leaders of Islam. Ali was then selected as the fourth caliph. The Shia don't recognize the first three leaders and believe that only progeny of Muhammad has the right to be Caliph and Imam. This factionalism also led to tragic death of Hussain, grandson of Muhmmad and son of Ali. The Shias and Sunnis have diverged in interpretation of theology. Both Shia and Sunni regard each other as Muslims. There are few extremist subsects that consider each other heretics.

I believe Hazrat Ali was the cousin and son-in-law of the our prophet(S.W.S)... :)

i am Christian and i always had this doubt...

1. Islam started from Abraham(according to old testament )?
2. you people refer the Lord of Abraham as Allah right?
3. which means the Lord of Jews, Muslims and Christians were the same right?

no offence plz...
This is not a forum for theological debates.

A few minuted ago I wrote a long essay (thats what it was) in the Ahmadi Thread and was hoping to get at least 20 thanks for it because of its high content and the value there is.

I wrote and tweaked it for half an hour but as soon as I clicked post, the thread was closed.

:hitwall::hitwall::hitwall::disagree::cry::angry:

I do not know if I should laugh or if I should cry, I lost my excellent
work and now I will have to wait a while to repeat my views.

Now lets tackle this topic.

Making the Ahmadi thread sticky and allowing by the Mods was a brave move. i think it is a good idea to have it back.
