The preferred snacks are variations of Chicken - Tikkas, tandori, best served at places along the highway which have pictures of a chicken underneath which is written " Meet me anywhere but eat me here ".

Egg - on - toast is a made -at - short notice snack most common in in Military Messes or at least used to be.

In the mutton segment - Kebabs, Chops ( called Champas locally).

Veg stuff :Nothing like Pakoras with tea on a rainy day, sitting near a window or in the veranda with or without a book.
