Arundhati Roy is one of the few sane Indians left. Bless her and may she succeed in developing a truly secular society. Her stance on Kashmir does not only have support of Pakistan but the muslims left in Indian occupied regions including Kashmir and the liberals in India. I wish her success and am impressed by her ability to stand against the populist ideals.

though there are many sane indians left and the threats to them from the right-wing have been historical ( 68 years ), the formation of bjp-led government last year has increasingly narrowed the space for dissent by the progressives and widened the platform from where the filthy reactionaries can project their anti-human actions.

sanghis who cannot think beyond the 68-year-old boundary of india have mixed nationalism with hindutva and use that to inflict various oppressions on progressives and allow the continuance of india's wrong political/economic/social climate to oppress the general masses.
