Exactly the same anathema ppp was making when rangers were chasing lyari gangs . Further the arrest of uzair baloch and ayyan ali .ppp washed away from the country, Sindh govt is dying away. All this and you still have the audacity to call it a one-sided operation. 2001 LB mechanism was fine for delimitations that came in result of the 1999 census. Its been a while now and demographics have changed. Im not sure what you mean by desired results and if that's what you WANT but there have to be new delimitations not just in Karachi but the whole country. By the way the census is not happening just for the LB elections, its a much awaited process for different developmental actions that have faced severe irregularities in past due to incorrect figures.

If rangers continue to target MQM while leaving others untouched, this operation will fail more miserably than the similar operation that failed in 1992. While MQM is making lots of noise on the one sidedness of this operation, internally she is happy because in the long run this unjust will earn MQM more public support than ever before and the Urdu speaking community will be more inclined towards proposed secession of Karachi from Pakistan.

And no, Zardari or PPP government will not send Rangers back to their barracks because now Rangers are doing to MQM what Liyari's gang and TTP used to do before this operation. It is a win win situation for Zardari/PPP/TTP/ANP.
