No. People do not have the depth of knowledge and the training to do justice to religion. The result, as we have seen do many times, is open invitation to Mulhid, Zindeeq types to sully Islam with their own modifications. The forum then becomes a platform for disfiguring the beautiful face of Islam. Until and unless the posts can be moderated by a valid religious scholar, religious discussion should not be allowed.

you don't need to know if someone is making fun of other religion , no one is talking about in-dept analysis of stuff, I am proposing anything related to religion like anything positive , debates or batter reports and opinions , those are knowledge which mods are stopping people to learn because of some trolls . I think its unfair , and the amount of misunderstanding people have about Islam and other faith , everyone has the right to defend their faith via peaceful dialog .

Don't know about the other folks but for the Ehl-i Iman it's impossible to understand the Hakikat via applying Hikmet garnered though the knowledge of the Kuran-i Kerim......

For example, the KITAP says, "They believe in conjectures not the TRUTH". Now, 02-27 has clearly shown to the Ehl-i Iman it's practical manifestation vis-à-vis Modi/Hindutva/RSS etc.. Mentioning this is a great service IMO to strengthen each others Yakin....

I think getting bogged down on the religious debates isn't definitely the objective of the forum, but certain clear and well understood references to the Islamic sciences sometimes is required to put the stuffs in the right perspectives without generating polemics...

In the discussion on the matters of Din the first and foremost is Edep and Haya!!! One highly famous scholar spent two-thirds of his time in academia to master Edep and Haya, and the remaining one-third on Ilm...

I think you should talk to a valid religious scholar to clarify your misconceptions. Religion is a highly sensitive matter. Someone who lacks formal training cannot defend anything. At best he will be a liability and there is danger that he will further mislead people.

I need no scholar to clear my misconception about the faith i follow , we are talking about stuff which co-relate with science and social science , we are seeing religion as a independent thing but its wrong , Religion at least Islam is connected to almost every part of life and our existence , be it science , society , wars , peace , justice , punishments , agriculture , nature , natural disaster , business etc . Why are all these topics under the supervision of religion are banned to be discussed ? just because some A-holes trolls ? Nah man that is indeed unfair .

There are 3 masjids near my house. One is Deoband , one is Ah-hadees, and one is sunni. I swear people even don't go in other mosque, even they will take long route. They never unite And you are talking about religious debate here. This is impractical.

Heavy moderation and banning for any takfir. Any member who promotes Sunni-Shia nonsense should be banned from that forum.

Keep Non-Muslim (mostly Hindu, sometimes Ahmadiyyas) trolls out of Islamic topics. Ban repeat trolls.

Keep conversation tied to religion plus defense, geopolitics, history, literature, economics, Sufism, and sources based on authentic scriptures.

You are right that religion encompasses everything. You are wrong if you think everyone has the credentials to discuss the religious aspect of these subjects.

There is no such authoritative scholar of Islam. There are many schools of Islam and there are many disagreements among them. So, even if non-Muslims were to respect the thread and not comment, self-identified Muslims would still make the discussion a shambles.

he has a Point, Quran is open to Interpretations to this date, and even until today there is not one translation where all Muslims are unite under . But back to topic please .
