I was wondering should Pakistan develop a force like NSG of India or GIGN of France or GSG9 of Germany. Taking best people from Elite Police Force and other commando units of Police from Pakistan and further training them for a year. Equipping them from MRAP to Helicopters to other stuff. Using them in hostage and other missions instead of SSG.

they are not called "special forces" based on a few vests and goggles, that aren't costing you much, a few thousand dollars.

And these guys are pretty poorly equipped as they do not even have kevlar elbow pads. Only dual tube NVG is the good thing.

first of all, you missed my point, as I said, I am not posting for the sack of showing off, but exactly the opposite, a few thousand dollars equipments don't mean jackshit, even police academy issued them to the students, secondly, since when does a few dozen dollars elbow pads = "well equipped"? they probably can't afford one.

I can show you thousands of photos of world renowned units without them, or is it because you haven't heard of inner elbow/knee pads?

Pakistani authorities will pull that force on VIP security and convoy escort duties for themselves and other officials. The same has happened with Elite force, SSU etc.

We have Rangers to back regular police whenever needed. So no need.

Thing is before NSG India didn't had any proper SWAT unit. NSG was literally your first SWAT unit. And after 2008 attacks. Your states woke up and now every state has its own SWAT unit. Mumbai alone has two different units. On the other hand in case of Pakistan. We have close to dozen units in our Police. From Elite Force to Al Barq Force and SSU of Sindh and other such forces of Rangers and FC. We have several dozen of these.

Remaining in denial or acting arrogant like you are won't serve you anything. You lost a war to them. They broke half of your country. So you may have warrior bone in you but you really need to prove it first in real big battle. The forum is low quality because of your kind. Who live in delusions and bubbles and are naive enough to underestimate the enemy. So get educated first. Secondly SSG and SSGN and SSW are part of Armed Forces. I want a elite unit for Police so we don't have to call SSG and SSGN and SSW in fights inside Pakistan.
