I bought Kashmir into the discussion just to make the point that most of the decisions made by either country will consider the other, at least to the effect that there won't be any negative consequences. India won't make any decisions that will benefit Pakistan in any way and vise versa.

I'm showing support for him simply cause I can. You don't have to be invested in something to show support. Support can come from pity too.

What are they bargaining for than? Here in India it's usually the opposition who indulge such groups/parties in certain seats where margin of win/loss is thin to bite in voteshare of the rulling party.

here in Pakistan they are fielded by ruling party in center to weaken the Opposition See last few re-election on few seats and you will see the margin was not big. PTI lost with small margin. PML-N is going to sweep Punjab anyway but fielding fundoos costs PTI votes
