Mud slinging is harder to stop bcuz it's just verbal. It's a whole new Pandora's box where u then have carefully weave ur way through freedom of speech if u wanna ban that in a legal manner.

For that kind of mud slinging speeches I'm against it in principal too. Loads of politicians do it all the time...sometimes the accusations against their opponents are true and sometimes false. If a person wrongfully defames another then there's legal ways of going about it suing them in court. In any case an ideal politician should have a good character and carry himself/herself with dignity.

Unlikely. They are not election winner so no but their vote bank of few thousands say 7 to 10K do count for some constituencies. Their biggest strength is riding on emotions of common man based on religious card thats where PML-N bog-down

What are they bargaining for than? Here in India it's usually the opposition who indulge such groups/parties in certain seats where margin of win/loss is thin to bite in voteshare of the rulling party.
