Saudi Hawks pilots are Hawk IPs as well. In addition to their display flying, they instruct on the Hawk from time to time. But yes, Sherdils really needs a big change....the Spanish AF aerobatics team is also not a full time team yet they fly a world class display.

I put the question to a PAF Viper pilot, this was the reply.

''Nothing is impossible if we had some extra resources. We don't have a single team that is dedicated for air shows only. Our pilots perform their core tasks and when required they perform at airshows as well. Thus comparison with dedicated aerobatic teams is not fair.''

On the question of PAF pilots beating the likes of F-15s, Typhoons and SU-30s.

''That's what matters, and that is where they remain busy and can't be spared for airshows.''

Herein lies the entire Ethos of Pak Forces.... it is all about practicality.

I wouldn't worry about the resources though, give it a five years or so... and with PAC Aviation City coming online in a near term... who knows... PAF boys would get a new Advanced Jet Trainer as well.

KEEP IT AS SIMPLE, COLOR SELECTION IS MOST IMPORTANT (green and white is not the color that goes with performing jets, high viz colors like red, orange... that contrast with sky) Sides of the jet dont matter most coz most of the time these jets are visible from Bottom and my be from top.
