Sherdils reveal new colour scheme

Guys this dont look toooo bad. I mean its not the end of the world. I think its a very thoughtful step by PAF. Beside, cant blame them for loving their flag.

I would have liked seeing the 'Sher Dil' aspect shown on the planes themselves ... black and gold has that feel to it. In fact, I would have had a black and gold livery, but with a silhouette of a lion in the tail with the star and crescent at its chest/heart.

Now that would be awesome. I agree but PAF and our other two services dont really like to do things that are too flashy.

Here is one of the Egyptian team and I highly recommend searching a video on youtube when it comes to their aerial display....they would give Sherdils a run for the money. I wish the radome of the PAF K-8s for the Sherdils had a dark radome instead of a white paint scheme.
looks far better than our colour schemes even the K8 is nicely and decently painted but with full visibility

40 t37 were provided by Usa as Eda out of which 29 were recovered and 11 converted to spares plus turkey also provided t37s as of 2103/14 average life of paf t37 had 14000 hours not sure what was the OEM designed life paf did extended through slep some t37 getting additional 30, 000 hours from slep curious how much longer will t37 go on I think paf and Columbia af the only af with t37 left , mirages at least paf and eaf still flying

Assuming each t37 fly 2 new student per year with 125 hours x 2 or 250 hours per year at minimum

Not sure when will k8 replace t37s

K8 has 8000 hours total life of airframe but will be extended as mushaq which had 5000 hour life was extended to 12000 hours

Per this article t37 life is 18000 hours

I like the darker paint scheme but that maybe a trick of the picture due to the sun....let's hope they work and improve on their flying as well. And most importantly to establish good public relations with the crowd who watch them, as by definition they're ambassadors and representatives of the air force.
