Shelling in Baramulla Kashmir by India

Why kashmiris should leave kashmir? Did your daddy gift kashmir to you in his will? If tomorrow someone who tells you that i dont like your fuckin face so you should leave this area then will you leave your own house? I personally think that there is lot of nahoosat on your face after watching your sick comment so if i tell you to leave this forum and get lost then will you leave?

Reported.

Beyond that, too low level to engage meaningfully.

It's not their land only.

No more than the land I am living on belongs only to me and my family.

A nation is a collective. Within the boundaries of my nation a saat baara ensures only I get to use it.

Till my collective needs it for the greater good. Like a dam. Or an expressway.

Then I need to move. And my government will compensate me.

That is of course as long as I am a citizen. And am staying in India.

Your post is wrong fundamentally and on many counts.

According to the law of the land, no one but a person born in Kashmir may own land there. It is their land only.

This is sanctified and sealed within the Indian Constitution, which is what makes us a state in the first place. Your personal opinion does not count a dam.

There is no question of asking any Kashmiri to leave his or her land and go elsewhere because they are dissatisfied with the way things are run. It is their right to express their feelings short of violence.

Anyone, Kashmiri or infiltrator, who takes to violence is liable to be apprehended and tried, with the use of force, and with the possibility that the use of force will lead to injury or death.

but according to UN it has to be included in plebiscite whole area is disputed
The UN has failed to do anything; they are irrelevant in this issue.

Even so; it seems Pakistan would easily win.

Here are the populations of each regions;
India
Kashmir Valley: 6 million
Jammu: 5 million
Pakistan
Azad Kashmir: 5 million
Gilgit-Baltistan: 2 million

The plebiscite would be determined by religion mostly. Most Muslims will either opt to join Pakistan or Independence - while most Hindus would opt to join India.

Kashmir Valley would be divided on whether to join Pakistan or become an independant state; most will go for independance but a significant minority will support Pakistan.

Jammu is a Hindu majority region and the inhabitants will mostly support India; but it also has a 30% Muslim population who would either go for independence or join Pakistan.

The people of Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan are rock hard loyalists and will definitely root for Pakistan; however there will be a small minority of people going for independance.

Under these factors; Pakistan will most likely win the plebiscite but with a small margin.

My personal belief is that Kashmir should cede to Pakistan while Jammu and Ladakh to remain in India.

Agreed ; violence should not be an option.

People resort to violence when they feel their demands are not being met; it's of a way of gaining recognition and more attention for the demands.

I doubt the violence will end until both Pakistan and India resolve this diplomatically.

Ahmed Quraishi nam he kafi hai....:-),dont believe the crap. This is a military forum atleast know when and why artillery is used.

I know how much Indians hate him. :)

Cannot really make a judgement based on the footage, I really am not able to ascertain much, but if my suspicions are true ,GOD help them.kudos

Yes if it not fake, then my prayers go to them. But after seeing the pictures of protest and the op of the video, there are high chances it's true.

Very accurate, I regret deeply to have to say. Your conclusion, as @hellfire has also pointed out, is the only sane way.

I would like to take this opportunity of saying how difficult it was to understand @smuhs1 losing his temper instead of quoting the facts, which were ready at hand.

It is not a news item to be accepted without validation. The source is not sound, not to be accepted automatically. Care is advisable.

You are talking as if the people like him who advocate only choices as leave or die can understand shred of reason. Talking reason with such people cannot change their sick mentality. Even i am a human so sometime i can just have enough of these mentally diseased people but i will remove my comment anyway.

Well I already have said, there are high chances and if it true my prayers to them. Remember one event leads to another.
Earlier they protested and with a large # of people. And later this video was shared by a Kashmiri. There are high chances for this video to be real. Peace

We can only drill in the facts, and I mean 'drill'. I agree, reason doesn't work. I didn't mean remove your comment, but don't lose your temper with people like this. It demeans us. I lost my temper and am furious with myself.

Dreaming about plebiscite, never gonna happen. Not till India again becomes the part of gondwana land.

Please remember - this is serious - there are some vampires who make a living out of false alarms and concocted stories. It sounds stomach-turning, but I can name names, except that it seems unfair to name those who do not know that they are being named and who cannot defend themselves.

To give an example, a very well-known very high profile self-declared representative of civil society was travelling in a car and hit a mine laid by terrorists. His companion lost her life, he lost a part of his leg. He has traded on that shamelessly, until even the lady's brother called his bluff in public and asked him to have some shame, and not trade in others' deaths for his earning. He is still very prominent and played a major role in the Mufti Mehbooba government's very peculiar manoeuvres in a well-reported case recently.

Please be careful.

That is in no way a denial that the level of violence at the moment is unacceptable.
