Similar thing your Govt tried in Kashmir and continues to suffer its consequences today.

Pakistan has had 11672 civilian deaths, 3927 security forces & 21935 terrorists killed since the WOT, whereas India has had 18151 civilians killed, 6728 Security Forces & 22492 terrorists killed from 1994-2005 (btw, this does not include deaths from left-wing extremism).

There is terrorism in other parts of India besides Kashmir as well.
But majority of the casualty figure is from War on Terror in Kashmir.
You cannot shame him but nice catch though.
This is the breakdown of the deaths from terrorism in India:

A significant portion of terrorism in India comes from the North East as well.
For information's sake, Pakistan has never declared J&K as part of Pakistan. Pakistan calls it disputed territory. Look at the maps Pakistan uses, J&K is never shown as a part of Pakistan. Now look at the map India uses, J&K, Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir & Aksai Chin are shown as part of India.
27,000 humans and 20000 terrorists have died in Kashmir conflict so far. So as you can see majority of terrorism is concentrated in the region affected with India's War on Terror in Kashmir.

The link talks about Kashmir from almost two decades (1990-2010). The time period where I have given my statistics from is 1994-2005, meaning it's not the same time period, & the figures correspond accordingly.
The period you talk about, 70% of the casualties are related to the terrorism in Kashmir.
Besides why bother counting the number of terrorists killed. The more the better eh.

I just saw heading of this thread and no idea whats going on and authur of this article is gone mad and for your information i am arunachali whom chinese(go to hail) called south tibet and to all pakistani,please don't worry NE always will part of india.no need of posting this sort of thread(correct your article because there are 8 state in NE,sikkim is added)
