wel these guys came from afghanistan.. shall pakistan send in troops to afghanistan? It seems Taliban will be adopting these kind of attacks once the Army has settled down..
We need to go out and hunt them wherever they are, we can't sit idle in their home ground.
Did Pak army kill anyone in return fire? If they got away with killing 3 of ours then there is something seriously wrong. Taliban should thing 1000 times before attacking any check post.
they will sure not afghan taliban but TTP turn from afghanistan after they run from OPNW
Sometimes i think Israel does the right thing. You kill 3 of them, they will make your life hell and in return kill dozens of you with bombs. Thats how strong nations should behave against the likes of Afghanistan.
Gutless Pakistanis have been waiting 4 years after thousands of killed to start operation in its own terrotery. Collective punishment is the only answer when ever Pakistan is attacked from Afghanistan.
I totally agree.
Collective punishment works wonders because it links the actions of one idiot to the whole community. Consequences are created and enemy can be dominated, especially with a weak opponent like you've mentioned.
ANA, TTP and Afghan Taliban are all interconnected. Afghan govt can barely secure Kabul and cannot be relied upon. No point in securing NW when ttp survives in Afghanistan. It only takes a group of 20 with explosives to creep through border and blow up a hotel in the future.
Whats the point of being terrorist attack free for 3 years or 4 years and then having a blast in Pakistan with causalities being reported around the world? Its useless, the country can't build in the long term and change world perceptions to it. There has to be closure.
So is it OK if India does dole out collective punishment in Kashmir? Biggest example of failure of collective punishment is Vietnam...I totally agree.

@Donatello
I think you mentioned once NW is secured it doesn't matter if TTP leadership have run away?
Well it does matter because their main bases are in Kunar and Nooristan. In Miransha we discovered kms worth of underground tunnels and IED factories. Imagine what is in their bases in Afghanistan!
They need to be attacked and bases destroyed. TTP leadership need seek and destroy operation. We should start by softening up targets with aerial blitzkreig and move in full ground invasion. Call in 100,000 troops and lets clear out ttp bases.
For all those advocating collective punishment: Would you say the same about the taliban inside your country? Flatten FATA or N Waziristan?
So is it OK if India does dole out collective punishment in Kashmir? Biggest example of failure of collective punishment is Vietnam...
India does not believe in collective punishment...Why would we say that? These areas and people are our own. And just for your information, not a single protest by NW people against army operation. That should tells you a lot.
Collective punishment for enemy country who save guard terrorists is the way to go.
No need to bring IoK here. Remember after parliment attack India was ready to hand out collective punishment to Pakistan, and after 8/26. But you guys backed down? Why?
