Ship attack version of babur can paralyse most advanced of navies.... (americans doing same with tomahawk to check chinese missile developements)...

Whats stopping them to experiment with ASBM...

PN should take out weapons from all the 6 Type-21s like the CIWS and Harpoons and place them on OHP and also use them too. But I don't see a bright future of OHPs at all as like USN most Navies would be retiring it and it better to make a deal with UK on their 13 frigates + 3 from Chile.

Also, as KSA is buying the biggest version of Lockheed LCS - 5000 Tons ship. Then PN might gain some additional 4 Frigates from them.

Well i heard qatar and saudia and a bunch of other countries were going to buy us goodies,,, i heard it from you if a remember,, so i though i should add a bit to this list..

How come it is only you who gets to buy ships for PN and i can never get my machines

my guess is that they were installed on the retired Type-21 frigate. Similar missiles, similar launcher.

Joke aside recently RAN decommission a OHP ship which is newer then alamgir. Should Pakistan try to get that ?

PN should focus on its cutting edge - the submarine squadrons which have the best chance of ensuring that our SLOC remain open beyond our EEZ. to defend the EEZ the PN must ensure that it has adequate MSA assets like LRMP aircraft, Maritime strike aircraft subordinated from the PAF and AWACS for early warning. for coastal defense it seems to be investing in MRTP and FACs in adequate numbers. its shore defense facilities are also being upgraded gradually.

other than that they should talk to Turkey about a larger version of MRTP-33 something in 600 tonne range.
