so how many times are you allowed to do the burring down of a mosque or Koran by a Muslim country before you attain the " historical threshold" of the Americans , only then to be viewed as evil enough that any reports from any media outlet is considered credible against it?

Show us a pattern.

You know, like the American pattern of killing hundreds of thousands of people directly through nukes, or indirectly through wars. Or the pattern of wars waged disproportionately on Muslim countries. Or torturing prisoners.

Or the Israeli pattern of terrorizing, evicting or killing Palestinians.

Where there is an established pattern of behavior, then new allegations find more credence.

That's a case in point. I didn't even bother clicking on the link you provided because the Saudis have a long history of human rights abuses, so the claim is credible. This particular instance may or may not be true, but the claim doesn't raise eyebrows.

The story about bulldozing a mosque and burning Qur'an is uncharacteristic. It may still be true, but it is not in the same league as their history of torturing people.
