If he has diplomatic immunity he'll probably be let off.....Pretty gruesome and SICK minded thing to do though - a mother and his daughter held as hostage and sexually assaulted. Un-Islamic and inhumane.
Sadly - such gang-rapes and assaults on women are a common reality throughout india. Whether its a diplomat or whether its people like those bastards on that bus in delhi - there needs to be repercussions for this kind of stuff
if the Saudis stripped him of his immunity (which i doubt they would) and gave the go-ahead to indian govt to prosecute him then that would be that...otherwise he'll just be persona non grata and given a day or two to pack and leave
they should at least financially compensate the victims....though money doesnt get rid of traumas
india lacks the leverage to pressure KSA........ask nicely

Diplomatic immunity is only for the act which are done for the business they are sent here, i.e. diplomacy...The diplomatic immunity is not for something which was done intentionally and for the crime as serious as this. These ambassadors or diplomats cannot take local law for granted.

If India pressures KSA, they can strip him off diplomatic status and extradite him back to India after.
This is what Singapore did in a high profile case involving an East-European drunk driving crime.
However KSA will have to agree to do this...and if he is even remotely related to royal family....fat chance of that happening.
