India should try to get hefty monetary compensation for these two ladies. Diplomatic immunity will protect them from legal action. Not sure if it will cover the wife of the diplomat for illegal acts in India.

No action can be taken. Our Displeasure can be made known to SA and it is for SA to take action if it wishes to maintain good relationship with India.

A Diplomat is the very embodiment of the Nation he represents, so any action against the Diplomat is equal to an action taken against his Nation and that is pretty Serious stuff. Needless to say, the actions of the Saudi Diplomat has brought Shame to the entire kingdom of SA. So the only justice possible is for the Media it make it a big issue and Shame SA More so that it will be forced to take stronger action.

There are international mechanism in place to resolve such matters. That is why Devyani Khobragade has now been assigned into a non significant role in MEA.

Nope, Nationality of the victim does come into play. Saudi can always ask Nepal to intervene on its behalf since the girls are Nepali citizen.

Indian police will be the ones who will officially press charges (if evidence comes to light)....at which point the KSA will bring in diplomatic immunity. At that point he will leave the country and then India will try extradite him as a non-diplomat.

Nepal has a very limited role in all of this....since it would have to somehow a) submit entirely to any Saudi pressure b) somehow convince the women in question to drop the charges or accept blood money etc..... instead of letting Indian judicial procedure go through its course. And they would have to intervene in this pretty much right now....I don't think they will.

This is a pointless argument.

1. Filing FIR is standard procedure. However Nepal govt. can ask India to close the FIR.

2. Nepal govt. can also ask the girls to withdraw their complaint in "larger interests".

3. As per report, the larger crime was committed in SA. The girls were brought back only last week from SA.

4. India Judiciary DO NOT HAVE Jurisdiction over Saudi Diplomat. Do you understand this simple concept ?

5. The solution cannot be Legal, it has to be diplomatic which is why Blood Money is the best way forward since you cannot ensure SA will act against this Diplomat who most probably have direct blood relationship with the king of SA.

There is nothing to watch and know, its pretty clear what will happen.

A nightmare for Indian Arab diplomatic most probably they pressure or bribe the victim to drop the charges. Take my words this would gona happen.
