Saudi Arabia’s air defense forces intercepted a ballistic missile from Yemen in northeastern Riyadh on Saturday night.
The missile did not cause any major damage.

Earlier on October 30, a ballistic missile had landed in Yemen’s Saada region, after al-Houthi militias failed to launch it into Saudi Arabia. (

The Houthis have repeatedly been trying to target Saudi cities and territories with ballistic missiles that the kingdom’s defenses have responded to efectively.

I did not know that civilian airlines were military targets. That's news to me.
Anyway this just means that more Houthi terrorist cult members will be slaughtered and more of their strongholds turned into dust. They lost 500 terrorist cult members in the past 2-3 weeks and 2 days ago they lost 3 leaders.
Dozens of Al Houthis killed in Nehim
Yemeni army makes incremental gains just outside of Sana’a amid days of intense clashes with rebels

Al Mukalla: Fighting raged outside Al Houthi-held Sana’a for the third consecutive day on Thursday as Yemen’s vice-president urged government troops to press on with their offensive, local army commanders and journalists told Gulf News.
Government forces and fighter jets from the Saudi-led coalition killed at least a dozen Al Houthi militants, destroyed four armed vehicles and seized three others on Thursday, a local journalist who visited the front lines said in a telephone interview.
The journalist, who requested anonymity because he was not authorised to speak to the press, said that bodies of dozens of Al Houthis have been left behind on the battlefield amid intense fighting.
“Fighting has been raging since Tuesday. Government forces are advancing while Al Houthis are fleeing, ” the journalist said.
Weeks of intense air strikes and heavy shelling on Al Houthis positions on Nehim’s rugged mountains have paved the way for government forces to make advances.
On Wednesday, a Yemeni army spokesperson, Abdo Abdullah Majili, told Gulf News that government forces liberated as many as 20 locations in Nehim and killed tens of Al Houthi militants.
The fighting intensified in Nehim as the country’s vice-president, Ali Mohsen Al Ahmar visited the front lines and met with senior army commanders leading the fighting against Al Houthis.
The state-run Saba news agency reported that general Al Ahmar urged tribes in Sana’a to defect from Al Houthi movement and join advancing government troops.
Al Ahmar also called on army and security soldiers backing Al Houthis to desert the rebels and fight alongside government forces.
Despite mounting many offensives in the area in the past, government forces have only been able to make limited advances in Nehim.
Their last big victory was last year when they seized control of a military base in Nehim district.
Meanwhile, fighting continued in the provinces of Hajja, Jawf and Taiz amid heavy air strikes from coalition fighter jets.
Army commanders in the northern province of Jawf said on Wednesday that their forces engaged in heavy clashes with the rebels in Al Masloub and Khab Al Sha’af districts.
In the southern city of Taiz, resident said that several civilians were killed when Al Houthi militants shelled residential areas on the eastern side of the city.
Yemen’s president Abd Rabbo Mansour Hadi fled Sana’a in 2014 after Al Houthis put him under house arrest and killed many of his bodyguards.
He decamped to the port city of Aden where he is leading a military campaign to restore his presidency, which is internationally-recognised.
The Saudi-led coalition has also intervened to help Hadi put an end to the rapid military expansion of the Iran-backed rebels.

Two senior Houthi leaders have been killed in Arab Coalition airstrikes in Yemen on Thursday, military sources told Al Arabiya.
Abdul Salam al-Madani and Zine El Abidine Ali al-Jali were killed in a coalition airstrike at town of Medi in the Hajjah province Northwest of Yemen.
Sources said a coalition raid targeted Houthi militia forces stationed in Midi at dawn on Thursday at dawn, resulting in the death of al-Madani , Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health in the Houthi coup government and tribal leader al-Jali.

The sources confirmed to Al Arabiya that the two leaders were killed alongside dozens of their accomplices in Medi. Houthi militia leaders acknowledged the death of the al-Jali but have not reported anything on al-Madani.
Furthermore a third Houthi leader was also killed in Hajjah province on Thursday.

Ali Omri, was killed by a coalition airstrike targeting a vehicle he was driving in the Haradh Front, along with three of his escorts: Amin Dahman, Khalil Azmam and Mohammad Jogfi.
According to local sources, Omri was involved in recruiting dozens of children in Hajjah province by and placing them in frontline battles on the Haradh Front.

Yemeni sources announced the killing of more than 500 militants in recent weeks during operations between armed forces and the coalition in several provinces.
According to the sources, 128 militia members were killed in operations in the province of Tihama, hitting five military engineers, one of them is Iranian, as well as leaders including Ibrahim al-Moayad, Bashir al-Jabri and Hasan al-Shami.
The source noted that the operations of the legitimate forces backed by coalition aircraft have left the militias more than 200 dead in Nahm near the capital Sanaa.
The sources said that the military operations in Mukha resulted in the killing of 213 elements of militias, during raids on villages and farms in the region.
In Al-Jouf, on the border with Saudi Arabia, the sources said that a number of field militia leaders were killed, including Abdel Karim Halsa and Khalid Mubarak.
