Saudi Arabia intercepts ballistic missile fired from Yemen

Not a Houthi missile.

. .
Saudia should seriously consider taking this fight to iran. They are supplying Yemen with these (low quality) ballistic missiles. That's an act of war.

. .
Saudi Arabia joined CPEC recently. Just when you think hope is still a word for middle east. Such things happen. Shame though.

Sadly with such security problems that ballistic missiles are being intercepted over population centers is a grave matter specially given all the talk of vision 2030.

Saudi Arabia has a huge chunk of Pakistani expats and my thoughts go out to them for their safety.

This is their capital still and will send shockwaves for many.

Pakistan is willing to play its part in ensuring peace in the region with its neutrality. That neutrality will be greatly tested if Pakistani people suffer from terrorism on foreign soil.

By the 1200s the Abbasid caliphate was already at its twilight and confined mostly to Egypt. Anyway, the point is, Arabs need science and technology to be a major player once again.

Population is not a big factor. A few million whites in South Africa dominate because they have science and technology.

This is not limited to Arabs but all developing regions of the world. For instance there are more illiterate people in South Asia (if not India alone) than there are Arabs in the world. The Arab world is one of the better performing developing regions on this front lately. You can check the official international data on this front, percentage of higher degrees, literacy rates, published papers etc. This tendency will only improve each day, week, month and year. This is what the data shows. All this despite numerous ongoing conflicts and wars. I suggest studying a perpetually (unfortunately) war-torn country like Iraq in case you doubt what I am writing. Take a look at their data on those fronts in 2003 and today in 2017. Look at future prognosis for economic strength, population, scientific output etc.

In fact few regions of the world have experienced such tremendous change in the past 100 years. China of course is the winner hands down on this front but this is once again due to the sheer number of people involved in this change (1.4 billion people). Of course this will have a much wider impact for the world economy and everything else than how far, say, Oman has come since 1917.

Which is why terrorism must be defeated as it is a cancer. Houthis are a cancer. What are they doing other than destroying Yemen? What is their future vision for Yemen? To chew khat 24/7 and curse foreign entities? How are they going to run Yemen? I think they will run Yemen completely to the ground and that will not be tolerated because 1) is a neighbor, 2) a fellow Arab country, 3) we like/love Yemeni people and have close historical ties to them, 4) Yemen is a extremely beautiful and ancient country with a very rich history and culture, 5) all this should not be destroyed by a terrorist cult.

"Meddling in internal Arab affairs"? "Propaganda nonsense"?

He posted some news of a successful Saudi interception citing official Saudi sources.

Do you know what propaganda is?

You did not read the articles that he posted it seems. Anyway I rather not discuss with or about that troll.

BTW I forgot to mention that I somewhat like Ghormeh Sabzi so not everything is doom and gloom and of course not all Iranians are bad. Just the Wilayat al-Faqih Mullah and anti-Arab lot. No eternal grudge here (no reason to) from my part or that of Arabs. Not our street.

@mohammad45 stop making threads that meddling in the internal arab affairs you since when you love the tazis that much you obsessed and hateful creature

WTH is a "Tazi"?

Except the claim of targeting an airport came from a Houthi-linked TV channel.

His flags say that he is a Canadian, if you think he is false flagging then you can report him to the mods, false flagging on this forum a perma-ban offense.

@AmirPatriot did you read this?

Your troll compatriot and Islamist posted propaganda nonsense that I disproved with photographic and visual (video) evidence. So if that is not propaganda what is exactly?

Whatever he is, he is definitely not a Chinese person living in Canada. I refuse to believe that. BTW it is Superboy/Ultron/etc.

If he is a Chinese I am half Papuan and half Eskimo my friend.

They did not mention Iran, apart from those tweets.

Oh of course. Now you say this, we will forget all the insults you have thrown at Iran in this thread (unprovoked), and all your half dozen accounts,

Once a Dalit from Ganga is always a Dalit even if he adopts a pseudo Arab identity. I guess it still is better being a Dalit for Arabs then a Dalit for the Hindus.

@Sharif al-Hijaz Hey mate please do adopt another Dalit who thinks he is Arab.

Can you tell us, how did you earned your English chromosomes?

What are you blabbering about? An serial Iranian troll is posting propaganda (that I disproved for all to see) about a topic that is an internal Arab affair.

Are you blind? He is quoting Twitter users who mention "Iranian" by name. Anyway that is irrelevant.

I don't care. I already told you that Iran is of no importance for me and most Arabs (regardless where in the Arab world) unless the Mullah regime and their supporters meddle in internal Arab affairs or write about topics related to Arabs. As I said no Arab user cares whenever there are food handouts in Kerman Province for instance or other internal matters. If anything only when the Arabs living in Iran are somehow involved but that is neither the case most of the time.

Anyway I don't care. Iranian Wilayat al-Faqih Mullah supporters are no friends of mine or that of Arabs nor Iranian anti-Arabs. They are enemies and I have always said this openly. They will be destroyed if they try to hurt Arabs and the Arab world. Try not to forget that.

Anyway to return to topic; the firecracker was intercepted and no human or material damage occurred. I am sure that this will be revenged very soon and in a spectacular fashion for people that consider terrorists and terrorism to be a cancer.

Very cheap of you. Thought you were a better man, didn't expect you to stoop so low.

Whether the articles were or were not criticising Saudi (1 of them was, the other wasn't), they didn't mention Iran.

Are you blind? He is quoting Twitter users who mention "Iranian" by name.

An Arab and clearly pro-Saudi twitter user claiming the missiles are of Iranian design. No Iranian involvement confirmed, no comments by Iranian members..

Anyway to return to topic; the firecracker was intercepted and no human or material damage occurred.

So what is your problem? That is exactly what the articles were saying!

KSA's financial growth was negative this year TOO, sorry bubble popped.... lol

Oh damn, I forgot about that. Yeah, quite funny for Hasani to be talking about Iran's economy which grew at 6% last year, while Saudi is in recession...

@Chinese-Dragon

Thank you for your PM. I appreciate your advice and we are in complete agreement. Anyway I will stop here otherwise I risk getting banned. My zero tolerance for trolls and ignorance sometimes bites me in the ***. I will take that as part of the package. Not sure if you saw my two PM's, hence the post.

BTW I was not aware that users could send PM's to each other?

You are more clever than that. You are one of the few Iranians (maybe due to living abroad) that one can reason with in a sane fashion despite disagreements here and there and occasional trolling. I will leave it at that.

As for your Islamist compatriot in this thread, I see little hope.

I will let the Wilayat al-Faqih Mullah likes "celebrate" this non-existent "victory".

Next time I suggest to target Makkah and Madinah and airports in the vicinity when Iranian pilgrims are arriving. Not many months ago 100.000 arrived.

What horror. KSA stopped being a G-20 member state, having one of the largest sovereign wealth funds in the world, some of the least debt of any state on the planet, some of the highest GDP per capita in the world etc. That the non-oil/gas sectors are growing each day. That historical deals on a unseen economic scale have been signed in the past 1 year with numerous countries, large international firms, investors etc. Too bad that the ongoing economic reforms in KSA (that will make KSA's economy even stronger and make it a likely top 15 economy in the world) have been praised by the World Bank IMF etc. You have seen nothing troll. I suggest worrying about yourself.

I think that I will go cry in a corner and lament that KSA's economy is not the size of Pakistan as well as the GDP per capita. Time to seek greener pastures. Been thinking about relocating to Karachi.
don't move here bruh, here women drive taxis...
