They can call their network whatever they want, as with the Chinese company can call their own network "Golden Dragon" or "American Suckers" or whatever they want. The question is do AT&T uses 5G registered trademark illegally or claim these function is of 5G capability? Nope. They can call it 6G, 7G, 8G, 9G or whatever, that's their choice, not yours, not the customer. As long as they did not use 5G registered trade mark and claim those phone are 5G trademark capable. They can do whatever the hell they wanted.
