SAARC Countries Bypass Pakistan to Sign Sub-Regional Motor Vehicle Agreement

1. Message is clear, India cannot check mate Pakistan through these moves in SAARC
2. Ordinary Pakistan has similar conditions like an ordinary Indian , despite India doing so much development. LOL
3. IF, Buts, Can Be, are hypothesis. project may get delayed but will complete :)
4. Plan B for what? Project will be completed and India will remain but hurt.

1. objective of is mainly to connect the Indian mainland with its seven sister states and to integrate these states in our economic growth.. pak is nowhere to be seen in this equation.
2. A decade back avg pakistani was btr than an avg Indian.. and a decade from now you could only dream to catch us..
3. CPEC is being over hyped by pakistanis the same way as they did with thar coal..ATB for the project though..
4. butt hurt ?? lol :lol: consider that CPEC gets completed in a record time of 17 years i.e 2032-33, by then we will be atleast 5tr $ economy and this is the most conservative estimate. do you really think we will give a fck abt this project ?

I hope CPEC doesn't become a laughing term like DSI.

Thinking logically I sincerely do not know what CPEC is going to achieve, After all the population of Xinxiang is just 21 million. How much of manufacturing in CPEC is going to cater to chiniese xinxiang province needs? The moment I think then the CPEC collapses like squid out of water.

The rest of the provinces in china with population centers are much closer to chinese mainland.

I also cannot believe that Pakistanis are really this CPEC stuff.

Gone are the days when Pakistanis used to mock at LCA (LSP-1 > JF 17 latest version), Arjun(much better than its competitor), Space Exploration (needs no explanation), etc.

From now on its we who are going to lol at Pakistani's Gwadar, DSI, CPEC, Train Engines, etc. etc... Dear Pakistanis do not worry we will repay with interests whatever you gave us :yay:

India can check mate if it really want with other countries of SA against pakistan as most of these nations consider India as largest trading partner.Pakistan no where in picture and so they don't care much about pakistan.

It has zero implications for Pakistan.

Oh BTW, we just approved two Motorways to link Central Asia to our ports.

Central asian countries are almost total only 66 million people with smaller gdp size all together have not much implication to pakistan. People talking central asian strategic importance is mainly to connect with Russia.

Ofcourse Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh of BBIN are economic superpowers.

Combined population of SA countries other than india are big compared to central asian countries and they benefit from indian progress as well.I don't think these central asian countries trade with pakistan even 1%.So how come they benefit from close relation with pakistan and viceversa !

In today's age, UN = UnNecessary........
And yet, that is what Sea Laws are governed by being a signatory.

Pakistan cannot change the laws. They are here to stay and they allow India full use of transit rights over Pakistani EEZ.

The Chinese or even the Martians cannot come and change that. Neither our ships nor our pipelines can be stopped should we so want them.

It has zero implications for Pakistan.

Makes no difference.

1. The very low population makes the economic market too small.
2. Natural resources - what Central Asia is rich in - can never be hauled over land. They are always too expensive. They have to be hauled by sea.

So a road link to Pakistan barely serves any boost to Pakistan or Central Asia. Dil behalane ke liye ghalib khaya acha hai.
Ofcourse Bhutan, Nepal and Bangladesh of BBIN are economic superpowers.
Myanmar is an extension of BBIN initiative. Myanmar is going to be added in a couple of months!

You forget that in this case, the market and natural resources are both there.

Bangladesh is a massive market of close to 200 million people!
And Myanmar and North East are full of natural resoureces.

So it will serve to tangibly enhance the economy of the region massively.

Yeph, 12th biggest export partner....in other words there are 11 other countries that are far more important as regards selling our goods and services. on the other hand after china it is the second biggest country that we buy from ($6.1bn imports from india vs $0.5bn exports to india)...

In the subcontinent concept both India and BD are each other's biggest trade partners. It will be better for us when we have direct road connection with both India and China. Two biggest import partners. Our other important partners arent in sight for a direct access. Only by sea and air. In coming years export in India and China will increase sharply.

doubtful, Bangladesh is mainly a exporter of RMGs and the margins that we get from selling to india is nothing compared to most other countries. We exported over $24bn in RMGs out of $35bn in export earnings...the RMG export is expected to increase to $45bn-$50bn in the next 5-6 years...very little of that increase is expected to go to india.

Trade will increase with india, but it will always remain way behind the trade we do with other major countries (Eu, USA, Japan, china, ASEAN etc). In-fact as trade opportunities open up with other nontraditional countries like South/central america, ASEAN, central asia region, middle east and Australia may mean Bangladesh/india trade will proportionately less.

No one cares, India will never get land access to Afghanistan and beyond ............. period !! OK !
