The problem for russian Air Defence systems is very real, no matter how much their media, paid trolls or blind nationalists like to play it down. Bayraktar TB2 has caused so much damage to russian prestige for their air defence systems that meetings are being held to discuss ways in which to counter it.

If I'm not mistaken, Turkish UAV technology is ahead of the Russians. Russia definitely seems to lag behind the major players in UAV development

Turkish ones are not as advanced as US ones, but they're proven effective against much stronger rivals like Haftar rebels/SAA/Russians while US drones are only used to attack gangster-level militias like Taliban.
And I really don't know why Russians have yet to deliver a remarkable UCAV, even they have the engines, weapon systems, Glonass navigating system as well as abundant aviation design experience

Frankly speaking Turkish Unmaned fleet ''within an acceptable loss ratio'' can overwhelm any opponent including Russia in our neigbourhood be it Syria, Armenia or Agean i.e where our Air force and EW assets are part of the equation.

Probably Tor missile is the best for countering drones and of course long range jammers which Russia already uses.

Probably the best way to counter drones is by using fighter jets. In WW2 more than 90% of air kills were done by fighter planes, with ground based anti aircraft accounting for less than 10% of aircraft kills.
