Turkey has enough power to squash IS if they want..
Israel has more power to do so, your point is moot.

lol, what ? Ofcourse Israel has the power to do it but they won't,because, just like Turkey,it's in their interest not to.
It is not the same here. A war is going on in Syria and obviously Turkey has security issues on the Syria-Turkey border. Turkey's rules of engagement is shoot to kill at the moment while the rules of engagement in eastern-European countries are not.

Israel has no bone in this fight except their concern for Hezbollah .
It's not a video game, so please explain why you're knocking on Turkey for that.
That's exactly the point, countries will only act out of their interest. So it's unreasonable to demand from Turkey a war in Syria.
Turkey has a lot to win and a lot to lose here depending upon the final results of Syrian mayhem . Independent Kurdish country at their borders is NOT in their interest neither is reign of ISIS though that is a smaller concern as turkey can finish them in a week if they want .
Please read my above post .
Blah,blah,blah.........The Jews shot Russian Migs with Russian pilots in them, down and not a single f4ck was given that day .The Georgians shot down Russian planes to and no nuclear weapon was fired in anger. If they keep intruding on Turkish air space they will be shot down .End of story ? Only the retarded children on PDF think that nuclear war will follow if a Russkie rust bucket swallows an AMRAAM for violating Turkish air space.
Oh,and Russia will have a tough time on taking Turkey on in a direct conventional war to,especially on its home turf and in the Black Sea.You cheerleaders should take a chill pill.
I agree with your points, except that it won't take a week unless you commit mass genocide/massacres and destroy all the cities.
Maybe more, much more but if turkey comes all guns swinging with NATO at it's back it wont be very long .
It depends on the balls. Turkish Armed Forces could do. If the politicians have the balls. Now it is a touch touch in the first round in the boxing ring.
Luckily we don't have leaders like you who think world decisions are being based on having balls or no balls. Our energy dependence is still leaning heavy on Russia. If they cut down the energy supply to Turkey our economy would implode within days. Turkey is not going to engage Russian troops other than in case of a big regional war. TANAP pipeline that connects us to Turkic energy in Azerbaijan and Turkic world is being build but Russia can also end that if they invade Georgia. Such action will lead to a confrontation though. It depends on the balls. Turkish Armed Forces could do. If the politicians have the balls.
