Probably yes. They don’t need huge ammo stocks onboard.

Lets say the radars of a Skyranger detects at 20km distance a swarm of 10 Iran suicide drones approaching.
When the drones come to firing range of 4km, the gun rapid fires 10 shots a 20 air burst rounds. 1 air burst ammo contains 160 armor piercing projectiles. 20x160= 3,200 projectiles per drone.

Hardly any drone would survive by such projectile blast.

same said about the previous offering from Germany and unless you believe the 110% interception rate of Ukraine officials and forget about Ukraine electricity infrastructure, those are just advertising the system on paper.

Of course the new flak tank is better. It’s like Mercedes built in 1970 and 2023.
Skyranger is new. It has a better gun, better electronics, electronic scan array radar. About the ammo, that’s only the rounds stored in turret ready to fire.

They can reload. For primitive suicide drones, firing rate can be reduced. 10 rounds per drone is enough. 250 rounds mean 25 drones. That’s ok.

Skyranger is vulnerable to Mi-28NM and Ka-52M helicopters which shoot LMUR missiles range 14 km.
